Ah. The beauty of Brexit.

Nothing like reading bad news about the EU together with a mug of hot chocolate.

And I bought all three volumes of History of the Decline and Fall of Roman Empire today (Penguin Classics version). How nice.
England has tied its future to the Anglo Alliance. Unfortunately, for me, this means that I have to hear all of these shitty British, Australian, and South African accents on my American television that doesn’t even include -and, in fact, excludes- the diversity of regional American accents!

According to Zakharova, Truss’ lack of geography chops is evidence that the world needs to be saved from the “stupidity and uneducatedness of Anglo-Saxon politicians,” noting that the head of the Foreign Office probably should know a thing or two about where countries are.

Ukraine really living rent free in British minds.

Someone could say that China also has the right to have its own Palestinians, although perhaps it would be more reasonable to approach it differently: in any normal country the population of the territory controlled by a State forms the citizenship, except in "our colonial project" (Jabotinsky)

Because Zionism is an ideology that establishes a brutal distinction between "a people (of lords)" and "the people of the land" ("am ha'eretz" in Hebrew) "people of the land" who must be subdued

The current American Empire has this same Biblical ideology, as all the previous Roman-judeochristian empires (the Portuguese, Spanish, French, British) that arise from the provinces of the Roman Empire

There is some material (go to the Iran section) here if you are interested.

You can also search for "US secondary sanctions to Iran" if you want more info
Those are American sanctions. China can make deals with Russia, North Korea and Iran if it wants.

The EU have their own as well as some other countries, UK, Australia. None apply to China, and Iran's nuclear programme isn't a threat to China.

Whoa??? Fist off, that’s unnecessary!

Secondly, if a commentator were a Zionist sympathizer, they would deny it!

I believe that this commentator’s is simply informed by a different, and not necessarily incorrect, strategic perspective.
Asking someone's nationality is somehow offensive?

I just find his beliefs with Iran to be in contrast to everything else he says.

Iran keeping the Anglos busy and distracted is good for China..
I agree. However I think the price for that to happen (Iran becoming nuclear) is cost-prohibitive. It would cause chaos in ME and radically destabilise the region because the gulf countries would then also want nuclear weapons

The least that China wants now is a destabilised ME. Stability and security of oil imports from ME is of paramount importance for China.

On the other hand, I would support some kind of a nuclear umbrella for Iran in order to assuage its (credible) concerns that the West wants to attack it.

Ideally, such a security arrangement should also include other ME countries (bar Israel) in order to be an inclusive solution and win-win for all parties. After all, I am sure that other ME countries are also aware that the West would like to target them as well
