Huh? @0.56-0.58 she acknowledges that the two men are back.
The two are back in Canada, but on bail. The legal conviction and charge are still in place. One of them was already convicted but released on bail, technically he is on paroll and can be put in prison again. The other one has not been convicted, but charge not dropped either. So he can be re-arrested for trail. So the drama is not over, just postponed indefinitely.

I been fool again by US propaganda media. There has been no US media that has ever mention them being on bail or parole... They just imply they were hostage

What’s with the Tianjin obsession lol.
In the early times of Qing dynasty's foreign contact, Foreigners are not permitted to enter Beijing, nor were they allowed to set their embassies in Beijing. Tianjin as the gateway to Beijing and the seat of Beiyang minister who is essentially the Foreign minister. So Tianjin is special as the office of Imperial Foreign Ministry.

That is partially a joke though. I think the practical consideration is still similar, Beijing is off limit, only this time the reason is risk of pandemic.

It has it romantic charms. Engaging with foreigners brings a lot of problems and disaster.
