Earlier this month, Squid Game surpassed HBO‘s Game of Thrones in terms of viewership of online video content, earning 17 billion views across long and short-form videos on YouTube.
I personally didn't watch much of GoT or Squid Game. I'm watching a TV show called Dynasty about a billionaire family fighting over an inheritance. Much more interesting to me - money, politics and power. But not politics in a direct way like House of Cards. So much more interesting.
I got a recommendation for it from an investment banking website, and if an I banker says a TV show is good, it's got to be really juicy intellectually.
Has anyone watched Dune recently? I heard it's pretty good.

Yeah I don't understand if Americans are stupid or something that they lap up GoT, Squid Game, Walking Dead etc. It's unbearably boring TV shows to watch for me.
I wish they'd release Boardwalk Empire on Netflix. I'm also watching a show called Peaky Blinders about a crime boss trying to force his way up. Much more interesting storylines than zombies or survival games.
Squid Game goes by really quick so its a good 7-8 hour watch and the show is over. GOT lasted for years, i never understood it but kinda funny see my obsess friends whom talked non stop about it for 5 years stop talking about it after the final (everyone realized they wasted their life on it).
Dune was pretty boring, turned it off after 15 minutes. I think fans of the original will enjoy it though.
You're right brother, these new meetings between the USA, the EU, and Japan, to tackle some of these Chinese trade abuses, that would have been a good idea 15-20 years ago.

The media tells us that the United States asked China to let it strategic oil reserves into the market to lower oil prices.
That should be true.
What the media did not tell us, was that the United States was going to do the same, with or without China coming along.
If the United States wanted China to run down its oil reserves, and the United States did not, then that could be true too, given how the current relationship is.
But that was not true. The United States will sell its oil reserves to lower the price of gas, and they asked China to do the same to work on the market in tandem for greater effect, which the Chinese will undoubtedly agree.
The full story, is not really much of a story. So the fake news industry leaves out the truth, to sell newspapers. We readers of the news are suckers here.
