Human beings are saved from drug addiction

And enabling addiction is not a "strategy" of cold war or something

If it is then British shouldn't be blamed for opium wars as they were just following a winning "strategy"
Lots of innocent civilians are starved by US sanctions. Lots of innocent civilians are killed by American bombing. They are human beings too.

(One bad doesn't mean other bads are justified but ok have your way)

Go ahead become Xi Escobar, CCP cartel no one's stopping anyone

But we as world shouldn't look down on Britian for making money by exporting opium as they were just protecting it's interests

If we can't come to a consencious that use of drugs on civilian population for "strategic" reasons is pathetic then losing hope in humanity

Which human beings?

The "human beings" who murdered 100 million native americans to create the country? And if we don't want to go back that long, who killed 200,000 innocent Iraqis to take their oil for the last 20 years.

America embodies capitalist values, let them buy whatever the PEOPLE want. Americans have no problems with buying guns to kill each other. Maybe drugs are some sort of escape mechanism?

What is with the undue desire to preserve american lives anyways? Does that same passion extend to helping defenseless Iraqis, Iranians, and in the last week cubans who are now under the threat of iminent execution by the American war machine? No one is putting a gun to an american's head and forcing them to do drugs. American's hold the value of personal choice as one of the core tenants of thier polity, what is the issue here?

Show the rest of the world some humanity, then the rest of the world will treat you as humans

“Germany does not want to get caught in the middle of a broader geopolitical power struggle between the United States and China. It never has and never will,” said Rachel Rizzo of the Center for a New American Security. “The U.S., I think, is finally coming to terms with that reality, and the Biden administration has made it clear that they aren’t asking Germany (or Europe, for that matter) to choose sides,” she wrote in an email.

On a deeper level, the Europeans also know that, for Americans, the relationship that has been at the center of U.S. geopolitics for three-quarters of a century is no longer as important. As the Biden team puts Indo-Pacific issues at the top of its agenda, a rival alliance has emerged in the form of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue, consisting of the United States, Japan, India, and Australia. “The Germans say we understand that we’re going to be in a situation where there will be less focus on us, but that’s going to take some time to get used to,” Pifer said.
