Personal experience is not statistically relevant to make such claims valid. Otherwise imagine what some Africans mine workers will have to say of their (mostly Taiwanese) bosses and co-workers if they extrapolated that to every Chinese person out there.

As shown by @manqiangrexue, they have had the complete opposite experience, is theirs less valid than yours?. Or like I said, the many Slav users you can spot in Chinese social networks.

Gary Oldman is an antisemite because he didn't get one word right...coming from a romcom filler actor.
His experience, he said, was primarily either as a tourist or with Kazakh Russians. I should note that the upbringing of Russians in Kazakhstan is Asian in nature, with respect for elders Steppe traditions, etc. Comparing the behavior of Russians from Asia and Russians from Russia, you can easily see the difference, and the difference is noticeable. And also If you understood Russian, you would notice the arrogant attitude of Russians towards the Chinese; this is not being a tourist, this is working. And also read their forums, websites, media, etc., mostly where ordinary people can leave opinions and comments, the Russians overwhelmingly hate the Chinese, this is already beyond the pale Personal experience. I've simply encountered hundreds of Russian-speaking people, worked with them, lived in the same dorms, and they all have the same behavior patterns. They're sometimes even worse than African migrants in Europe.

on the open secret in DC, that the PRC side has not lived up to the Trump-Xi deal but the US is keeping quiet about the problems, especially around rare-earths. From the article:

While there’s plenty of internal grumbling and frustration voiced among Trump officials, those familiar with the situation describe a hush culture where the US government is reluctant to publicly admonish China and risk plunging the countries back into a trade war.

Some officials believe Trump is particularly disinclined toward registering any objection that could endanger his plans to host Xi for a lavish state visit in September. There’s also concern that pushing back could prompt the Chinese leader to escalate retaliation in a way that could rock markets ahead of November’s midterm elections or fully turn off access to critical minerals...

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and Jamieson Greer, who leads the trade office, have spent a half-dozen meetings with Chinese representatives over the course of a year attempting to iron out sourcing for the crucial inputs for American firms, only to be rebuffed.

Startup meaning tricking people into investing in the future because they don’t have proven product. I saw a video from India claiming they had a Chinese beating AI model. Well why don’t they let anyone not Indian test it to see?
It reminds me of that guy in Africa that claims he’s invented all sorts of inventions that no else has like a car that doesn’t need any type of fuel to run. There are others giving this guy publicity but they’re claiming the world is trying to suppress his inventions. How? Because they not giving him money to put it in production. That’s the thing isn’t it? Just because they say it’s so doesn’t make it true but it’s about just getting money from outsiders. But since no one is giving money, they’ll claim some conspiracy against them.
You're referring to Sarvam which claimed all these great benchmarks but no one could independently verify. I remember all the Jai Hinds hyping it like no tomorrow. Then people actually started using and realizing it sucked ass and that without any practical use, even nationalism could only go so far. In that timeframe, the Deepseek they claim to beat released V4 Pro and people forgot about Sarvam. And unlike DeepSeek which was a private quant fund project, Sarvam has the entire government backing it and giving it massive subsidiaries before it even took off.

Maybe one day like Tejas it will result in something. But so far its just another case of India PPT boasting.

Ain't no way India is going over the Himalayas. I mean, I'd pay good money to see them try...
I mean will definitely have Sherpas carry their gear.

Speaking of which the Sherpas on the Chinese side can just sit back and relax knowing that they dont have to die on mount Qomolangma for their livelihoods.

What's the point if you can't even defeat Iran?

Peak neoliberalism - your men die for the global financial capital while your women serve the global financial capital:

Automation improves productivity greatly - but at what cost? Notice New York Times doesn't hide their most malicious anti-China pieces behind a paywall so more people can see them.

As though automation doesn't affect jobs in the West.

It's not just a journalist thing. No one hate China more than the Chinese. I know many people like that. They don't take pride in being Chinese whatsoever and just criticize all days and nights. To the points that I do question if national pride really exists in China. Do these dudes feel more proud if they are born in freaking India instead (which all Indians feel proud of).

You will find self hating people of all nations.

Ironically we probably need more self hating Americans as they are usually more aware of the historical, cultural and moral failings of the US than the average person.

Is this like where the Chinese government has promised to roll back or eliminate export controls, and the rare earth companies just voluntarily choose not to sell or export to the US? The Chinese government can then just say "That's a business decision and has nothing to do with us"

But Chinese self-hating is just off the chart bro. I swear I see more Chinese self-hate more than other nation combined in my entire life. You go to Xiaohongshu, Zhihu, etc and nobody dare to say they love China there. It's like loving China is a sin.
