The US is probably betting that they can get rare earth supply started faster than china can build it's own financial system. Then the US will 100% try the sanctions all chinese entities again.

However it's probably harder than they think to get rare earths organized
But who will have the upper hand?

How long will it take for China to protect itself against financial sanctions
Pressuring allies to break China's hold is basically saying America has no confidence whatsoever in its own scientific prowess to do it. Countries looking up to the US were thinking that America, being supposedly the most high tech nation and lone superpower, is gonna break China's rare earths monopoly. They must be a bit surprised to hear it barking orders for them to do it instead. Oh, what a productive bunch when people want something done then shout at others to do it cus they don't think they can.
That's why you divert what was going to the West into your own MIC and start pumping out weapons at the rate my grandmother makes dumplings. The US cannot fight a high intensity peer conflict when their stockpiles of munitions are depleted by their misadventures in Yemen, Israel and Iran. They won't be able to sustain replenishment either because they don't have the raw inputs courtesy of China cutting off rare earth exports.
China's not trying to fight a bloody war with the US to win over Taiwan; that's what we hoped to do when we were lagging significantly. Today, we're moving on to victory by intimidation. China's already building our military faster than anyone else but most of our weapons meant to meaningfully outmatch the US qualitatively are still upcoming and around the corner. Heavy investment in what's available for mass production now will mean less resources to build those coming in the pipeline. It's a balance that the PLA has to decide upon.

Hello brother and happy Chinese new year, from my perspective the seizure of both port are for me an irritant not existential cause 1) it's owned by a private HKG company and 2) NOT PART OF BRI, for symbolism and pettiness the American really want it to score a win after taking a humiliation loss from the Chinese. Its a telegraphic move by the Panama, the US and China knowing that they haven't cross the Chinese redline. Now it will be different if Greece nationalize the Piraeus port, that port was owned by a COSCO and part of BRI. We know that there are a lot of pressure emanating from the US, EU and NATO for Greece to take action and they refuse knowing the repercussion will be devastating.

Yeah, happy Chinese new year brother.

The world outside of China and South East Asia, seems to have gone off the rails.

LOL!

Epstein’s online habits

that the latest Epstein release revealed that Epstein was a “compulsive video gamer,” who “liked to cruise anonymous online forums for odd genres of pornography.”

It cited a December 2013 automated email to Epstein from Xbox Live that said he had been banned from the service.

Epstein also visited the sprawling messages of 4chan, a message board site founded by the 15-year-old Christopher Poole in 2003.

“The forum was intended to be an English-language version of the Japanese forum 2channel, where Japanese comics (manga) and cartoon series (anime), in particular, were discussed,”

. “It quickly developed into a broader platform for all kinds of topics. 4chan was the birthplace of numerous internet memes, but also became controversial due to the distribution of illegal content and announcements of shooting incidents that took place in real life.”

Epstein sent his last known girlfriend, Karyna Shuliak, an email in 2017 with a link to a 4chan thread featuring user-made pornographic videos of the animatronic characters from the horror video game Five Nights at Freddy’s, The Spectator said. Its subject line was “amazing animations.”

“Discovering that Epstein looked at and shared porn based on the horror game Five Nights at Freddy’s is far from the worst piece of information to come out of the Epstein emails,”

In addition to being a 4chan visitor, Epstein met with Poole himself in October 2011, the new documents revealed, per The Spectator.

between Epstein and a Boris Nikolic included in the files does reference “moot,” the name Poole goes by online (styled as m00t). Epstein said he liked “mimot” a lot and that he “drove him home,” when asked how he liked “moot.”

“Little about the encounter or their subsequent meetings is known, but on the day of his first audience with Epstein Poole chose to relaunch the /pol/ – ‘Politically incorrect’ – board,” said The Spectator.

“This subforum was initially set up as a containment board to keep extremist posts separate from the other subforums,” said Hagen of /pol/ in 2024. “It is now the forum’s most active place.”

Hagen’s work argues that 4chan has has become a home for far-right posts and is “what holds this movement together.” His work also focused on how messages on the boards “systematically” portray certain groups as “enemies,” including Jewish people, immigrants and women.

I get the impression that the Epstein files were a nuclear option for most if not all of the western elites, now what happened is unclear, perhaps trump was blackmailed into attacking Iran and when he refused, they released incriminating trump allegations in the Epstein files, so trumps ppl retaliated by releasing documents that incriminated their side ie European royalty like the Norwegian crown princess and prince andrew, ie Europeans who were against trump taking Greenland.

Question now is, where do we go from here?
Western regimes will believe nothing will happen to them because electoral "democracy" has firmly conditioned people into believing voting is the only way to solve problems and until then it's fully justified to execute anyone who rebel.

They will then one day find out they're not the first in history to believe they're above consequence, and people's wiliness to go along with the lie of solving problem through voting only last until they lose their bread and circus.

the characterization of his trip in the email.

“Beyond the fact of the Prime Minister’s official visit to Israel in July 2017, the rest of the allusions in the email are little more than trashy ruminations by a convicted criminal, which deserve to be dismissed with the utmost contempt,” Randhir Jaiswal, spokesman for the MEA, said in a statement.

You know its big enough when Bloomberg has to make an article on it.
