More Palmer Lucky China derangement syndrome. Must be because China just blacklisted his company. I guess he can no longer use Chinese components in his prototypes so he can then bilk the US for more money to make them in the US.
What kind of coping is this? Delusion?

This shows you how far-sighted and competent China's government is. For Iran though, it's probably too little too late.
Literally nothing else matters - not missiles, tanks, planes, or ships - if you can't secure your information space.

Greenland is ridiculously easy to take, given there are barely any people or soldiers there, and how isolated it is.
Note that US already has soldiers based in Greenland.

So Greenland is a quick fix to demonstrate his strength and create a spectacle for his followers.
The US doesn't actually need to take Greenland at all. With the current agreement between Denmark and the US, the US can place as many troops there as it wants; on all 17 current or former military bases.

This is all about Trump's ego. It is even more likely that if a hostile takeover by the US even be attempted, that any officer in the US military that participates will later be charged with following an unlawful order.

EU chief diplomat Kallas: World’s woes mean it’s time to start drinking

High representative says global events mean now could be a good time to hit the bottle.

BRUSSELS ― EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas privately told lawmakers the state of the world meant it might be a “good moment” to start drinking.

Kallas told leaders of the political groups in the European Parliament that while she is not much of a drinker now may be the time to start given events around the globe, according to two people who were in the room.

She was speaking around the same time as foreign ministers from Greenland and Denmark were meeting U.S. Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio over Donald Trump’s threats to seize the Arctic island.

The EU’s top diplomat ― who coordinates the bloc’s foreign policy on behalf of the 27 governments and the European Commission ― cracked the joke in a meeting of the Conference of Presidents, a meeting of the Parliament’s group leaders. Her comments came after top MEPs started wishing each other a happy new year. The same MEPs added that global events meant it wasn’t that happy, according to people in the room.

With fears in Europe that Trump might annex Greenland, mass protests against the Islamist regime in Iran, as well as the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza and the U.S. operation in Venezuela, geopolitics has become the EU’s most pressing issue. One of Kallas’ most recent moves was to tell POLITICO that she was prepared to propose fresh sanctions against Iran following the government crackdown that has reportedly killed hundreds of people.

Hayao Miyazaki said this because the otaku fandom are insult to life because they're obsessed with 2d girls to the point that they're out of touch with reality according to him (He was also a sinophile that wants the daiyou islands to be shared). I am guessing that anime is the reason why the Japanese created this delusion about china collapsing that can rival Gordan Chang.

Surely they meant US autocracy.
Actually I am seeing an awful lot of X posts along the lines of Canada should cease trying to repair relations with China and reach some accomodation with Trump's US, even to the extent of being annexed. I cannot beleive these are coming from real Canadians, in the main. My general feeling is that most actual Canadians would really like to tell the US and Trump where to shove it. Which got me wondering to what extent discourse on X on any controversial topic is dominated by bots?
