Not surprising. Dumb tank "researchers" promoting anti-China narratives often have Chinese wives or are of Chinese descent. The same logic applies to ICE officers marrying non-white wives.

They use it as a pass.
One of the most prominent WHITE SUPREMACIST founder in America was himself married to a Filipina. He also lived in the Philippines and saw how the people of that country treated him with such great magnanimity and adoration that his literal sense of self exploded and reimbued the the idea that white = right.

regarding what happened in Venezuela. while some people (like me) were initialy blaming Russia and China for not helping Venezuela. however there was nothing that Russia and China could have done to change the outcome.

Maduro fell in like three hours. wtf were they supposed to do? Putin and Xi Jinping barely had enough time to just get briefed about the bombing and then boom the dude is under arrest on a US warship. if he had survived for few days then maybe Russia would have done something though even that is quite difficult due to distance.

if China were able to do a similar thing in Taiwan (regime change in three hours) then the US too would have done nothing to save whatever Taiwanese politician that get's arrested or killed by the PLA.

regarding Greenland. while some people may not actually take Trump's claims on Greenland seriously. I actually think it is quite feasable for the US to aqcuire Greenland.

first of all the majority of the Greenlanders are not Danes they are Inuit. secondly polls have shown that while the majority (around 85%) dont want to join the US. still most (56%) want to secede from Denmark.

European countries have been saying the fate of Greenland should be decided by the people of Greenland only.

if Trump could convince Denmark to hold a referendum in Greenland to decide the fate of the island then Trump could just bribe the people of Greenland. if they vote yes to Join the US then ever man woman and child in Greenland get's 1$ million plus another 100$ billion paid to the Danish government and also get's to keep it's autonmy when joining the US.
the citizens of Greenland will surely vote yes to joining the US if they are offered a life changing amount of money.

Germany used to be the master. And China, the student. Now Germany is the student for battery technology. German industry players are happy about this. But not DW.

As usual, the report always ends with "But at what cost?".

Apparently China is dumping "wasteful overcapacity" to Europe, and that Europe must eventually diversify away from China. Says a male Chinese diaspora presstitute who has no skin in the EV industry game.

Ultimately the responsibility for a country comes down to its own leaders and its people. But I guess a lot want someone else to do it.

Btw this also applies to first world countries like ones in Europe too. Notice they whine when Trump tells them they need to take more responsibility in paying for military etc. He's a businessman come on.

This is standard language for international diplomacy, which has its own protocols and rituals, this is not some arm-chair geopolitics reddit forum.
Diplomatic protocols also say that heads of state don't get kidnapped and that treaty allies don't get threatened with annexation. There's literally nothing to lose by clowning on the US for shattering the system they themselves created.

What is there to gain? Everyone in the world knows that the US is the biggest hypocrite to ever exist. Announcing this out loud through China’s foreign affairs channel doesn’t help everyone reach some kind of big revelation. “Epic pwns” might feel good for a minute, but are a waste of time and effort.

You're kidding right? People absolutely believe the US is some paragon of virtue. Not necessarily governments but the laypeople certainly need the hypocrisy pointed out to them. MOFA's condemnation would be forgotten about in a news cycle but mocking the US would be remembered and speak louder than platitudes.

Edit: Imagine this. The MOFA, instead of waffling on about morality, said "Hey Europe, nice treaty ally you got there. All this time, you helped Uncle Sam eat smaller powers and never once considered you yourselves might end up on the menu?"

Everyone in the world knows that the US is the biggest hypocrite to ever exist.
A core ideological foundation of the US is the Puritan concept of a "shining city upon a hill," where the US is that shining city which knows no perfidy and does no evil deeds. Primary school education revolves around pounding this idea into the heads of impressionable young children.
