Anyways I remember people saying Kishida resigned because he didn’t want to be the one blamed for the coming and continuing issues in Japan and that she was gonna be the fall girl. This is basically a confirmation because saber rattling irrelevant foreign policy like this is solely a domestic distraction but will only work so long as the actual parts that affect people worsen.

No surprise there. If you've ever done business with the Japanese, as in actually been to Japan and sat in business dinners with them and observed the divergence between male and female employees, then it becomes super obvious that Takaichi was hardly chosen for the job out of the Japanese top brass's new found devotion to "progress."
