Indian government is fudging AQI numbers in Delhi as the AQI numbers are exceeding 400 in some areas.

They are spraying water mist near air quality sensors around the city to bring the pollution numbers down.

Even the celebrated Smog tower which was built 4 years ago is abandoned

Angry Indian citizens are protesting and the police are stopping them.

Its business as usual for the Supapowar.

You know how the US attacked TikTok for making Americans dumb because the China version, Douyin, is educational? Then there was an attempt by a school district outside Los Angeles that wanted teaching the Chinese language as part of the school curriculum. There were protests by parents and local politicians that teaching Chinese to their children was equivalent to brainwashing. Stupid is as stupid does.

Look at all these educational toys from China. I’m sure there are plenty of Americans that are paranoid as hell at China rewriting the brains of their children with toys that require thinking and then they’ll blame China for making their kids dumb. How do you prevent China from making their kids dumb when they’re not even buying these toys for their kids in the first place? They’ll have to ban Chinese kids from accessing these toys to prevent it from spreading to them. “It’s the only way to be sure.” It’s no different from how the West wants to regulate AI when it’s really all about preventing China from having AI and especially their own.

The West is like a cult. They’re like the Falun Gong. The Falun Gong believe that aliens cursed humanity with science. Why is that a problem? It’s because cults want their followers to only understand their interpretation of reality. What does science do? It makes people use logic and think for themselves. That’s poison to cults. Why do cults want their followers to disconnect and abandon contact with their families? Because the family is a person’s strongest connections and influences with others. That’s why they want followers to abandon traditional connections because they want 100% control over their followers.

Why does the West want everyone to embrace Western values? It’s so they can control them. It’s not because it’s the best way of life for all. Just look at Western racism. Just look at the West’s anti-immigration stance today. Are Western values good for you especially when Westerners hate everything that is foreign to them? So how is it what’s best for everyone when they’re trying make sure “others” get less than them in their own societies? It’s because this is their way of being in control and not looking out for you.

China suspended only clause 2 for general export ban to the US, but retains clause 1 on dual-use export ban for US defence use or customers.

It shouldn't be hard to put one and one together and figure out China basically synced gallium, germanium, antimony and superhard materials with RE export control: US customers can now apply to purchase them, but they must disclose any and all data China requires to prove they do not violate clause 1 ban on military use.

It aligns with China's policy on RE and Nexperia chips: if you want to survive, you must put on China's collar and leash.

Again I find it amazing how desperate Americans are to convince themselves China will actually help them build weapons to use against China

What Happens If The U.S. Runs Out Of Explosives

I didn't know that US imported explosives from foreign countries (China and Russia) and stopped producing TNT lol
So the US, with the world's biggest military budget has deindustrialized so bad that it has to import TNT from China and Russia. And then the US threatens war with both. How does that make sense?

Making munitions isn't flashy and it isn't very profitable so nobody wants to do it. Therefore the amount of production capacity in the US isn't very high, so the military doesn't order very much. And because the military doesn't order much, there's no incentive to increase capacity. And so when the military does want to place a big order, there just aren't enough factories to fulfill it. That's the general reason why the US has shockingly low levels of munitions stockpiles overall (and why they're not doing anything to fix this issue).

Specifically in the case of explosives, you just need to look at the key industrial inputs for the stuff. High quality cotton is one of the most important ingredients, and much of the world's supply of the material comes from China. The US labelled it as Uyghur Cotton and banned the import of it. Another key component is antimony, and the countries that mine antimony are China, Russia, and Tajikistan. The US sanctioned Russia, so they can't get antimony from there. China restricted export of antimony to the US as above. And Tajikistan? They send their antimony to either China or Russia for processing. So while the West can get enough materials to make explosives, these materials tend to be very expensive and the industry still isn't very profitable.

This is kinda old news but now its properly official in 2025.
Hello, I'm very interested in changes to India's fertility rate, but this article isn't available for free reading. So does this article acknowledge that India's fertility rate has fallen to 1.9?

I believe the key factor for China to avoid conflict with a rising India in the mid-to-late part of this century lies in India's fertility rate plummeting to extremely low levels before completing its industrialization. This would subsequently lead to severe aging, causing the nation's development trajectory to resemble that of certain Latin American countries. By that time, Indian society would be far from matching China's educational standards and manufacturing capabilities, effectively ending India's aspirations to become a superpower.

So in other words, firms like Intel and Texas Instruments can now directly import gallium and Germanium from China to make commercial chips for electronics. What if Northrop Grumman were to import gallium to make GaN nodes to AESA radars through several other companies that nominally sell in civilian products? I see great incentives for US MIC to adopt the same tactics that Chinese firms managed to smuggle some Blackwell chips into Shenzhen, albeit input price will be high follow such classic multi-layered smuggling operation.
