These guys are have no idea how much humiliation is in store for them. They will probably have their own century of humiliation.

I actually did not really like that article.

Seemed to me all the points listed were just same old stereotypes (except the last one) that these types of Western academics tend to have of China. These people are doomed in this struggle, because they simply do not know what they are up against.

Then the last point was the most absurd. Seeing over 2000 Chinese people go dance in the park at night, gave this guy hope about the country. Seems rather blatant that his real thinking was this was not part of any stereotype he had.

We are dealing with some seriously ignorant people here. Does not matter if they are someone like Trump a rich businessman or a PhD holding academic from a prestigious US university, their ignorance about China cannot be hidden any longer.

The Dutch made a catastrophic mistake thinking voting shares are the mission critical assets while in reality, it is the production facilities and output that are mission critical.

They're gonna have to fight Nexperia China's physical possession with an expensive piece of paper.

They don't even think about their own fables/parables when they construct their own "societies"...

The fact is, like incorrect medical practices Sometimes you just have to wait for the old guard to die out so the new, younger generation who don’t subscribe to old incorrect beliefs can take over,

Spicy, are we going to have a EU-China trade war? Hope EU can last a bit longer than Trump

EU considers sanctions over China's raw materials blockade
According to the report, several EU member states have proposed activating the European "Instrument Against Coercive Measures." This new law allows the EU to respond to economic blackmail with tough counter-sanctions.
We would initially only open the torture chamber," says one diplomat.
Torture chamber? Better take care of the soon-to-become (love this word) "ghost" factories of VW and rest of your automotive industry and then start dreaming about your kinky fantasies

Germany and France Back China Trade Discussion at EU Summit

The German official said it was time to talk about the anti-coercion instrument, but cautioned that Berlin is hesitant to activate it over fears of economic blowback. Still, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz isn’t ruling out the option, unlike his predecessors, as Germany’s economy struggles.

France and Poland are two other countries pushing for a strong response to China’s trade practices.

France wants the EU to consider all retaliatory options, but is exploring other ideas at the moment, according to a European official. Paris has long advocated for Europe to take a more protectionist stance against countries like China and the US.

Exclusive: Japan's new PM is preparing large economic stimulus to tackle inflation, sources say

Soooo, they're gonna flood their country with yen until the money printers burn out and the value of the yen crashes? Then what? How does an island country that depends on a strong yen to buy dollars efficiently to import nearly ALL of their essentials, primarily oil, do that now? Especially since Trump is demanding they reinvest all of their dollar reserves in Amerikkka Inc.? In addition, stimulus won't mean jack when domestic energy prices are through the roof and cannibalizes it all. This is the definition of throwing good money after bad. They are SCREWED.

Apparently his ballroom, and Arch de Trump comes first-please get the priorities straight.
Somehow, I actually am a little interested to see if such a disaster was to occur (a nuclear catastrophe going off) while Trump is busy show boating his achievements as per usual, just to see his face. Again, nothing can convince me that Trump wasn’t put in by someone to bring down the USA quickly because given the sheer amount of stuff ups in one term, he must be going for a Guinness world record, especially when his noble peace prize got ninja’d from him

Didn't you know? If you have inflation, unleash fiscal stimulus to end said inflation

Japan is soon going to spearhead a new chapter in economics. Chapter 9
