I'm all for china being a smart nation but I hope these kind of studies doesn't breed hubris and arrogance! I mean a nation of geniuses may not succeed if there isn't a good support structure or good governance structures, or social cohesionI have always maintained that China´s greatest asset is its huge human capital. Now a smart Chinese econ student wrote a blog about it. China has ~61% of the world´s geniuses.
Often times geniuses don't work well with others, and succeed less trying to do everything themselves.
People will disagree but I have to rant.
Chinese people need to be better at working as a group or team. Sometimes a single genius doesn't get further then a group of normal intelligence people.
