More than half of this volume is accounted for by bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and Russia, which reached $28 billion last year. Russia has become one of the largest investors in the Kazakh economy, investing over $26 billion in its development. The inflow of Russian investment last year alone increased by 33%, exceeding $4 billion. This was made possible by the accelerated development of industrial cooperation. 114 projects with an investment volume of over $21 billion have been implemented. 33 projects worth over $4.5 billion are underway," he emphasized.

Yes it does signify that China is no longer afraid of American retaliation, which is a monumental step.

But why now? Trump seems genuinely surprised, and to a casual observer it does feel like a blow out of the blue especially when we just had a phone call where both sides were calling for cooperation.

Is it just a negotiating tactic ahead of Trump Xi meeting? To push Trump to say he opposes Taiwan independence?

There's a reason China created MIC2025, and MIC2025 concludes in 3 month

It only looks like it came out of the blue if you haven't updated your world view: China really does not consider America to be an equal, or consider America to be a country that deserve to co-exist with China, America is a threat, and China will eliminate the threat, that's all there is to it, America's survival is irrelevant to China, just like all barbarian tribes who attacked China before.

It’s actually a pretty telling indication of the mental handicap much of the world has applied to their own basic logical reasoning capabilities that they think China could or should only respond to American attacks and seems to just not comprehend that in a war, both sides gets to launch attacks.

I think US economy might be finished, if Tariffs stay it's going to destroy the US economy, if they end tariffs without a deal with China to remove the rare earth export restrictions is going to make Chip making a lot harder and bring down AI bubble, or there's going to be a deal that removes all rare earth and chipmaking tools restrictions but it's also going to bring down the AI bubble lol.

Nah, not even 1,000%. That's too creative for him. He announced it's just 100%, except he's saying it in a way so that MAGA people are stupid enough to forget that they already went to 145% with no effect. So basically... 60%? Didn't work. 145%? Didn't work. Is 100% the Goldilocks number that will bring China down? What else has he got left to try? LOL
