Indian farmers produce the entire Saudi food supply and/or Saudis rely entirely on Indian chefs for their daily survival?Do you think so? The Saudis would starve too.
Look, strikes are quite common in our culture. -see the riots in France or Hong Kong. If it's mass, the punishments are small or none. And Indians also love their country and their media is very bloodthirsty.
I consider this as a kind of political support. Pakistan needs it and the Saudis have to mutter something about support... Like in the case of Palestine or Qatar. Maybe they'll lend them some weapons. Yeah yeah.
I think I read somewhere that most Indian workers coming to the Arab states are Muslims. They probably discourage Hindu workers from coming in. Those Muslims workers have no reason to back a Hindu nationalist India against Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.Saudi Arabia is full of Indian workers and technicians. If Saudi Arabia joined the conflict between Pakistan and India, it would be enough for them not to come to work the next day...![]()
Yes, it is possible. I definitely think the Saudis will be careful not to anger the US or Israel. They are too dependent and afraid. And their adventure in Yemen has "taught" them about the strength of their military.I think I read somewhere that most Indian workers coming to the Arab states are Muslims. The vast majority of services, administration, but also routine maintenance and repairs.Indian farmers produce the entire Saudi food supply and/or Saudis rely entirely on Indian chefs for their daily survival?
Exactly, manpower is not exactly an issue with Pakistan (250 mil+ population) but this will hopefully remove some of the budgetary constraints that Pakistan Armed Forces have always faced and will allow it to acquire a broad range of weapons from China and also provide much needed fiscal space to spend more on development (education, health and other sectors) internally.Paks can provide the security, if Saudis provide the money to pay for J-35A and enough HQ-xx missiles to shut down Brahmos attacks. We can't expect PAF to fight Israeli F-35 with only J-10s can we?
Maybe a PAF air/naval base on the Saudi coast too.
Saudis have all the leverage. They can replace them with Pakistanis, Filipinos or various other nationalities. These aren't super high skilled workers lol.The vast majority of services, administration, but also routine maintenance and repairs.
Of course, I meant it as a very unlikely possibility, as you have probably noticed. The Saudis will never give them the opportunity. They will never go to war again.
I did not mention agriculture. Is there any at all?
This is implicit Chinese backing of Saudi Arabia. Cause everyone knows what is the source of Pakistan's military strength these days.Pakistan is the only Muslim country with nukes with the strongest Muslim military. Saudia Arabia knows it can't defend itself against Israel so it's asking for help

So we're talking about two different things then. I'm talking about Indians literally starving and you're talking about Saudis being deprived of low cost administrators, handy men, plumbers, cleaners, garbage men, etc. I'm not sure you can really equate that to "The Saudis would starve too", which is exactly what you said. The Saudis would starve too.
They wouldn't need to replace a million workers because most people, even the Indian workers, would continue to choose steady and gainful employment over participation in a politically motivated labor strike/walkout.Well, all power lasts only until a coup, as we all know. It was 36 years ago for us, for example.
Have you tried to imagine replacing a million workers? And the Indians are quite qualified. Training, drills, handing over agendas ... The Filipinos are there, but they only do the most menial jobs.
To confess, a very close relative there and not long ago worked as a trainer for the armed forces. And he told me a lot about it.
By the way, I didn't write "hungry" but they will "starve" if no one works for them. I don't mean that literally. Surely the entire democratic world would come to the aid of the poor Saudis and help them manage their foreign exchange reserves. And those Indians there are definitely not starving, they earn enough for their circumstances.
Forgive my bad English, I haven't used it for 25 years... Maybe that's why we didn't understand each other. I meant it as a pun and it just hit me hard...![]()
