I'm just waiting for the PLAN to sail through the Bass Strait and then start doing some live-fire drills just outside of Australian waters.

If the RAN and the RCN really want to start doing some shit, I'd recommend those two navies to do some live-fire drills during their transit of the Taiwan Straits. Let's see if their legal fiction of the Taiwan Strait being international waters would hold any water.

What does China want when the Democrats offer nothing in return thinking they can just order China to stop committing the international crime of making too many things as part of trade negotiations? They think they can convey to China they're the bad guy so China is suppose to just do what they say. Chinese exports to the US dropped 33%. They want to stop China from selling to other foreign markets, which makes up more than what was lost from the US market, so they can sell their over-capacity and gouge prices higher than the Chinese and make money that way.

Come on, you think they will start anything? This is just typical western virtue signalling. You think PLAN is afraid of the Canadian state of the art in 1985 class Frigate and the Australian 1990’s era AEGIS radar but at least built this century Destroyer?

Unfortunately, it's almost a forgone conclusion that we will see articles about Haiti-level failed state, mass poverty and dysfunction coming out of Nepal in the upcoming years. The western publications will put on a metaphorical stupid looking surprised face and say "What happened and where did it all go wrong?"

It's not even "legal fiction". If Taiwan is part of China, then the strait is legally Chinese internal waters.
Everytime those dipshits sail up and down the Taiwan Straits is an open violation of Chinese sovereignty.
