I think China should still be on the lookout for Taiwanese green terrorists and Hong Kong bobalibs. They seem to be able to enter and exit mainland China with impunity. Even if they can't influence opinions they could still cause massive damage through sabotage of public infrastructure or something as simple as ramming and stabbing attacks. I wonder if that is part of CPC considerations for AR.

They already are on the lookout. I am HKer and visited Tiananmen Square for the daily flag raising ceremony, not even on a special occassion and the security personnel pulled me to one side to remind me that this is a solemn occasion and not to do anything stupid. I can't imagine what the security on the day of an important event will be like.

Donald Trump suggested deploying Chinese troops as peacekeepers in postwar Ukraine, lending support to a proposal first put forward by Russia’s Vladimir Putin, according to four people briefed on discussions.
Trump proposed inviting China to supply peacekeepers to monitor a neutral zone along Ukraine’s 1,300km front line as part of a peace settlement with Russia in a meeting with European leaders and Ukraine’s president at the White House last week, according to the people.
“This is false,” said a senior Trump administration official, adding there had been “no discussion of Chinese peacekeepers”.
The idea is opposed by European capitals and has previously been rejected by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy because of Beijing’s critical support for Russia’s war effort.

Not entirely sure myself.

It is a conspiracy theory from the right wing, some of them really believe it. Often they think it is some sort of Liberal attempt to debase conservative beliefs, and then change society in general. Many think it is funded by powerful people.

Speaking of which, we always hear the name George Soros once in a while, and he is always associated with this kind of globo homo stuff.

Is this true? I don't know. I just know I find it extremely funny. Haha!

Who was George Soros? He ran this hedge fund, and he broke the Bank of England back in the day, with his sidekick Jim Rogers.

But then, some how later, a couple decades later, he was involved in this cultural political things. Haha! Not entirely sure how much of that is really true.
