The sanctions were waived on NordStream 2 AG, the company working on the project and its CEO, but not on the ships working on construction of the pipeline. Not that this will matter since the owners of the ships are Russians. The US executive will also draw up a list of entities working on the project to present to the US Congresscritters, so the shenanigans might continue for a bit.

Supposedly there are 80km left of pipeline to lay down. The land based pipeline extensions to Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany are complete I think. It is doubtful this project would be cancelled since that would result in billions of lost capital on those projects, and the ensuing lawsuits for damages as well. Not just Gazprom asking for damages, but the European companies involved in the project, like the German companies working on the project which are private companies, several billions worth in damages.

This is probably a good thing, I'm no fan of 张一跪
It's bad enough that a major Chinese tech Champion is headed by a spineless coward, even worse to continue letting it be led by an outright traitor and anglo slave.
What this coward did, spits on the courageous acts of heroes like Ren ZhengFei and the sacrifices his family has done for Chinese civilisation.

In other news, the Anglo Americans have continued to stonewall attempts to stop the bloodbath in Gaza

Also Nepal are now so desperate for oxygen that they're asking tourists to part with their O2 on the climb up

It should be noted that Everest climbers in Nepal tend to come from rich white privileged backgrounds you need to fork out about 50-100k for the gear, sherpas, accomodation etc for the climb.

Here's a cartoon that showcased America's past racism and biasness. This can also relate to the current Israel treatment of the Palestinians in their own land.

That is how every Western I grew up on watching on TV explained it.

Good. Should step down AND investigated.
Spineless traitor, and also ask him about dumping Ali Cloud for Oracle and Amazon cloud services

I am eagerly awaiting to hear how he spins that he is serving China by dumping Chinese Tech companies and going for the enemy's cloud services

Regarding the latest war of words between United States and China officials.

China has always stated that this is not a new cold war, and that the United States should stop its cold war zero sum thinking.

However, increasingly we see the CCP using the traditional cold war hostile rhetoric against the United States.

Why not? Kind of fun. The cold war wasn't that bad. LoL!

Also, it is what Chinese companies are doing or trying to do. Some Chinese companies are number #1 in their fields. Others are trying to break embargoes. Under these conditions, to remain on top, they got to be aggressive to crush the competition. If they are trying to break embargoes, no reason to be polite.

The CCP should turn up the volume.

People won't like it, but it has past the point of no return. Any collateral damage, the others have to be responsible for themselves.

China did not start it, but seems like they have taken the determined attitude to finish it.

Yep. You see how the US gets paranoid with a single industry that China manages to lead. This means that the US is ultra-competitive and it will forever be aware if other nations are trying to surpass it

China needs to emulate this spirit without too much paranoia ofc

I think the us is only ultra competitive in the field that it deems critical like semiconductor or 5g
For example the us automotive industry is not world leading, toyota and vw is but then again japan and germany is us vassals so they may let it slide

US was like ok you have better industries but you got to become US vassals before I let you dominate the world market for your products.

Make no mistake, unless you become a US vassal you are not allowed to have good tech.

Ofc China with its huge economy and military can withstand this pressure but the rest of the world RIP (sans Russia)
