So, I think I ought to utter the wise words from the "wise sage" Kissinger:

"In the world of geopolitics, There's no such thing as friends, there are just interest".

In politics, there are no such thing as friends, only interests.

Don't anyone read before posting?

@Bob Smith

"Yeah, what's generally known is that because those Arabs states are ran by brutal dictators, they only promote military commanders on their ability to kiss the dictator's ass and nepotism rather than competence because they're afraid of getting overthrown."

I'm not sure that's a good analogy. Stalin is a brutal dictator, yet, his generals, particularly Zhukov is not incompetence

@Gatekeeper Sir, he is one of the greatest WW2 general, better than most American & British generals in my opinion. Only Manstein and Guderian are his co- equal.

Any reason why people would think that way?
Maybe due to all these terrorist attacks that happened on thevearly 2010s from terrorists. So now that Israel is having rockets rained upon them they understandably feel sympathetic to their cause.

There is also some Chinese-Israelis cultural exchanges which helps to bring the people together.

IMO it should be more of a mix of media reporting (not showing many Israel's attrocities) and past experiences whith having terrorist attacks

If you have noticed, they dont talk about Palestinians but about Hamas specifically and how they support Israel against these terrorist attacks

That link doesn't work for me but I guess everyone have the right to comment on the Internet. The comments here are exactly the opposite though:

That's not very representative. I would say on the whole Chinese people take the position of 吃瓜群众 (a crowd watching a spectacle while eating watermalon) in this case.

Thanks for the source

So from what I see its mostly because of media reporting. On my source, the news didn't mention too much about Israel attacks, humanitarian crisis etc, and you saw people supporting Israel

In your source, there was significantly more coverage, which also showed normal Palestinian people suffering, and then you saw all comments were negative towards Israel by a lot (Nazi, Genocide etc stuff)
