Isn't Vietnam currently in this stage?
Well now Vietnamese in the stage of mass use of motorcycle. Funny is when motorcycle from Honda used to expensive(for Vietnamese) then someone import cheap motorcycle from China. It significant cheaper while quality is variable. In short it make those greedy Jap lower their products price. So now every households in Vietnam have at least one motorcycle. Well now i see Yadea electric bike is using alot meanwhile those electric bike from Jap is ugly and expensive again. Hope Yadea can gain large share of market. Fingers crossed.

Yeah

For exemple in Europe

€ 1000: 2.3 hp Mr. Soichiro Honda Outboard
€ 250: Hangkai "4 (haha) hp" Outboard

I'm very happy with my purchase; it's just what I was looking for (for my small sailboat)

But i see a communication problem (besides the amusing nomenclature of the Chinese 2 hp motor): some people buy it and don't put oil in the gears and the engine, destroying it on the first day and cursing the manufacturer instead of their ignorance. Communication with ignorant Western buyers has improved somewhat lately; but I think competing solely on price isn't good for either the buyer or the manufacturer's profits.

NK has been getting a lot of wins lately. Mainly from it's enemies doing stupid things.

But now NK can claim to have a win under it's belt with regards to proper real war experience in Russia. Plus nukes and space programs.

SK thought Kim Jung Un was just some stupid spoiled rich kid. Turns out he is probably smarter and more brutal than his father.

They don't even bother to find a mainland Mandarin speaker to do the voice. What the heck is 看顾? Just can't hide the wanwan accent innit?
It's like the Uncanny valley but in hearing. It's just so bad, I can't believe it came out from the CIA, supposedly the world's best spy agency.
That's the thing, the US is coasting on a largely unearned reputation from the Cold War. The CIA was never the CIA of popular imagination, but it's a complete joke today. As is America.

US is also provoking China with Iranian oil secondary sanctions

I think tariffs will stay for quite some time.

Imagine US threatening China with high tariffs every single time every week or so until China completely bends over and let US do whatever it wants. Better make a stand now. There is already an embargo, no difference from 140% liberation tariffs or whatever 500% Iranian oil tariffs
This is part of the strategy and happened during Trump 1.0 as well. Signing the Phase 1 Deal while still moving forward with sanctions. Attack attack attack.

But China understands the game much better this time.

Seeing the news lately, you would notice that many countries are busy and are in no mood to help others now.

Russia is busy with Ukraine
US is busy with China
India is busy with Pakistan
SK is busy with NK
Israel is busy with the Middle East
etc etc

I remember people saying that China has no allies so they're fooked. But the thing is what happens when things are tough and everyone has their own stuff to deal with? Suddenly all the words of your allies means crap and you're on your own. A lot of people still think this game is like high school and your mates from your clique will bail you out.

I don’t think, it’s so much China understands the game better, it’s just that there is no point in dealing with Trump.

The Trump 1.0 deal was supposed to get rid of tariffs, only for the US to then a few months later apply the exact same tariff but with some other BS reasons. Breaking the deal while technically not breaking the deal.

So Trump thought he was clever basically getting what he wants while screwing the other party over. However, you can’t expect anyone to still trust you keep to a deal after screwing them over once. This is why the whole deal signing with the US means nothing, and it’s likely that countries will just wait him out.

You got to remember his time is running out, there is 6 trillion debt that he has to roll over in the coming month, he either needs to force someone to eat it or inflation will rise at light speed.

Iran is an embargo. The 500% is Russian Tariffs. Except the Russia thing is an act of congress and probably going to be unavoidable regardless if Trump supports or does not support it. Trump tried to force an unconditional Russian surrender like Biden did. It didn’t work. Now he is resorting back to the Biden plan as he has now inherited 100% of the Ukraine conflict. MAGA stupidity of “peace through strength” is rapidly backfiring and it is going to be the trap that bogs down the MAGA administration.
