Still believing all those Made in China products sold in the US are actually Chinese products and not something US companies outsourced? Frankly China should demand all tariffs going back to Obama be removed if Trump wants a meeting.

This is interesting news. It seems like China is now capable of attracting top talents from overseas, starting with East Asia. This used to be one of America's greatest strengths. Much of the great scientific achievements of America was built on the back of foreign geniuses. The American nuclear program was one such example.

Today China is capable of attracting overseas talents while America is happy to deport theirs. Instead, America is more interested in bringing in rich people, and very talkative people. I enjoy watching this very much.

The most important point in the statement that Apple is going to shift "all US-sold iPhones" to India. This is basically Apple doing trans-shipment to the US. India would also get enjoy their locally-assembled iPhones, and exclude itself from Chinese made iPhones. While for the rest of the world, they could still enjoy Made in China iPhones.

Its a win-win deal in my book.

They're still assuming Beijing will let them ship phones, parts or equipment to/through India.
This kind of assumption has been proven wrong with pretty high frequency recently.

China did demand all tariffs going back to Obama be removed for start talks, also note there would be nothing to talk about if China also removed tariffs, which means China is basically demanding US open up market unilaterally.

But Trump does bring up a very interesting point: China hasn't played the kick US business out of Chinese market card yet, a card China already played with Korea over THAAD.
