No wonder I'm seeing all these infantile patriotic tech bros popping up lately. Palantir is probably a scam company. If Palantir was using artificial intelligence, should it have been the first and best one before any one we hear on the news lately since they were saying they using it long before anyone else? We're probably going to find out that it's like Amazon artificial intelligence. It's just a bunch of workers outsourced to India doing everything analog. Palantir didn't predict Oct. 7th and the spastic nerd energy CEO Alex Karp said last year China didn't have software right before DeepSeek was unveiled.
Not good for Anduril and other American companies that specifically made drones for war and were rejected by Ukrainians for commercial DJI drones instead. Still can't make a better drone than China.
Ever seen The Drone Ultimatum podcast YouTube channel? A lot of these right-wing tech bros starting defense companies being shown off there. They just had a guy promoting his laser defense system against drones equating his lasers to what you see in science fiction. Basically if any weapon is relegated to playing a CIWS role, it's a last rung on the ladder defense weapon if everything else doesn't work. If your laser ain't powerful enough to shootdown a fast moving fighter at long distance instantly, there's nothing to brag about. That's why CIWS laser systems are mainly to counter slow short range moving targets. A few weeks before there was a middle-aged defense expert on this podcast that said lasers are overhyped.
