There is a clear shift of rhetoric. A harbinger of things to come.

First you change the words to prepare the ground, then you actually change your actions

Basically, if they are already talking strongly like this, knowing the Chinese culture and level of statecraft, they are really 90+ out of 100 times sure to defeat the US across all dimensions already today.

Zhang Weiwei is also giving severe warnings like this, I timestamped the moment, but the rest of the talk was also full of such moments.

He's also saying that conditions for the reunification are getting more 'mature', and that more 'good news' like DeepSeek and others from recently are still 'in the pipeline'.

He also spoke of many truths in terms of the true US-China balance of power currently that China used to hide due to strategic deception (in my opinion), but not anymore, I guess. I think he must have gotten some kind of a green light to finally let the cat out of the bag on everything.

I think that if you pull out the CIA's strategic media propaganda about the over-inflated US true situation and Chinese strategic deception (downplaying their power), in my estimates China is currently ahead of the American Empire, as much as it (the US) is ahead of Russia. We'll see this in the next few years I guess.

Now everything depends on the US, will they walk into this trap and waste those possible remaining few years of existence internally in an instant during a hopeless confrontation with China externally?

"Germany’s chancellor-in-waiting Friedrich Merz is considering unlocking hundreds of billions in extra funding for the country’s military and infrastructure as coalition talks with Social Democrats gather pace.

One option under review is a proposal by top German economists to raise up to €800bn in new public borrowing for two separate off-budget funds over a decade, said two people with knowledge of the matter.

A third person briefed on the early-stage negotiations said they were centred on a combined €500bn package. The people cautioned that other options could be examined.

Such a plan would mark a step-change in Germany’s traditionally conservative approach to public borrowing. Berlin in 2009 enshrined a debt brake in its constitution, which limits government borrowing and keeps the structural deficit at 0.35 per cent of GDP.

The economists’ proposal would be “a double bazooka”, said Armin Steinbach, professor of economics at HEC, referring to the term used for Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s stimulus during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The proposal would stimulate a stagnating economy and signal that the EU’s largest democracy is serious about increasing defence capabilities at a time when the US administration is seeking to unwind the transatlantic alliance".

"Germany’s next chancellor has signalled he wants to use the outgoing parliament’s supermajority to pass the constitutional amendments that such borrowing would require, because his government would probably be blocked by the far-right Alternative for Germany and far-left Die Linke in the next parliament.

The outgoing parliament can be reconvened in an extraordinary session until March 25".

A more apt term would be "double explosive vest"

It’s all impressive until you realize that 98 percent of Western China experts are functionally illiterate in the Chinese language and routinely dismiss anything from China as knockoffs. It’s like clubbing seals or beating mentally disabled children at chess.

More like beating baby seals at chess and clubbing mentally disabled children since the opposition couldn’t even work out wtf is going on.

Disappointed is an understatement. They're both rolling in their graves right now.

That’s his secure plan to save Canada. He had already dug both of them up and installed them in power generators. Their spinning in their graves is generating Canada gigawatts of green electricity. Just so long as the disappointments keep coming. You will never understand his true sacrifice for Canada!

Yes he is certainly qualified, but he is not some sort of geopolitical genius by any sense. A good analogy would be a very good senior tech lead in a company. Runs the team exceptionally well, highly technical, x10 developer and could mentor juniors as well as debug any production problem without breaking a sweat. Is he a tech visionary like Steve Jobs? Not really. But considering that his competition are geopolitical equivalents of OF models who are more adept at sucking a D than balancing a binary tree then he must look like a friggin visionary.
