"Chinese Vice Premier He Lifeng and U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent have discussed economic issues in a video call. He Lifeng is also China's lead negotiator for China-U.S. economic and trade affairs. He and Bessent discussed the implementation of the consensus reached in a phone call by the Chinese and U.S. leaders. Both sides recognized the importance of China-U.S. economic and trade relations and agreed to continue to maintain communication on issues of mutual concern. China expressed serious concerns about Washington's recent restrictive measures, including the imposition of U.S. tariffs on China."

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said on Friday that she believes European allies should put more pressure on US President Donald Trump's administration to avoid losing Washington as a partner, including in talks on the war in Ukraine.

"We are increasing the pressure on the Americans" to show "that they have a lot to lose if they no longer stand by the liberal democracies of Europe," Baerbock said during an election campaign event in the city of Potsdam, just outside Berlin.

Anglos in down under are going apoplectic.

Political infighting, all news panicking, their Prime Minister talking about it, calling his Foreign Minister, calling his Defence Minister, calling New Zealand Prime Minister, then Australian Foreign Minister to talk to Wang Yi to complain

And what China do to cause all this mayhem? Just sent a task force consisting of one type 055 and a type 054A along with a replenishment ship lol

Just wait until Coast Guard's type 054 vessels start regular patrolling of Australian seas...

I’m watching CNN and they have a story on this new cancer drug from China that’s performing better than Western ones. The American company just for having an associated with this Chinese company is experiencing a 75% stock rise. But as usual CNN injects skepticism using Chinese citizens on Chinese drugs. They even had one that said he prefers more expensive Western brands because you get what you pay for. Funny because this was just a guy on the street being interviewed if he had cancer he would only take Western medicine when having a deadly disease? Even though that was a stereotypical Asian mentality favoring Western brands, it also seemed like a typical lying hit job by CNN. If people were skeptical why would they mention that it was found to be more effective? Why would a healthy looking Chinese man be that much of a bitch to himself that he would reject a life saving drug just because it came from China? That’s why if China discovers the cure for cancer, the West would be working against anyone using it.

I’m surprised Canada is putting up more of a fight against supposed MAGA irredentism. Australia already functions as a vassal state of the cia and would gladly compromise sovereignty for Anglo Americank hence all the more reason why China should take Australia for national security.

The only reason Canadians are putting up a fight against America, is simply for one reason and one reason only.

Canadians are stupid.

Canadians are very stupid.

The best strategy for Canada is basically surrender, or plea no contest in court, something like that. Give something to Trump, and try to limit the damage.

To fight, in this type of fight, is to ruin the country. Leave the damage open ended. What a plan.

Something people do not understand about Canada, even Canadians do not understand.

The Canadian economy is not like one economy, it more like 10 regional economies doing their own thing, with deeper relations with the neighbour down south, than the province besides them.

That 25% auto tariff, will probably devastate the auto industry in the province I live in, as those cars are exported to America. What does Canada have to fight back with?

Like nothing.

That is why Canadians are stupid. How many Canadians even know Canada is not one economy but ten regional economies?

Critical thinking was something that was valued, in Canada in the past.

Now it is all about how we feel, and people boo the US national anthem at a hockey game.

It is that American saying, "Stupid is stupid does."

No, just...no.

I hope you're being sarcastic but this ain't it.
