How long until you realise that what he wants is power. He wants to be everything he criticizes because in reality he wants to do all those things himself. There is no redpilling when you are the new boss and want all the power for yourself.
I think what he wants is both political capital and to prove his usefulness to his masters in Beijing. He is playing 4D chess and preparing for the post-US North America and world in a few years (new balkanization and techno-feudalism of the West - digital Dark Ages). To succeed he would need both hard power and connections with China and rapport with people since dollar and fictional US "assets" would become completely useless and iliquid. So he donated however much was necessary for the campaign without questions. He is basically playing Trump and MAGA rightoids like imbeciles. Not the other way around.
This, don't get too rosy of a view of Musk and Trump. They are not trying to save USA but destroy it and replace it with something else. These two are new money compared to real political dynasties and they want to become old money by any means possible.
This forums opinion will only turn on Musk when it comes out that he has bribed some politician in Asia. Russian oligarchs brought their corruption to London, switzerland and UAE. Musk will not doubt try to bring it to Asia.
The only real safe zone for western oligarchs in Asia is really Singapore in terms of how slavish it is to westerners and existing as a time capsule of the 1960s. Or if they’re poor, it’d be Thailand and that could change if south east Asia ever gets its act together And decide on becoming something more than prostitutes for the west.
