I can see the West plunging into evil because of AI. You can see it right now over criticism of oligarchs running the US. You think thinking about everyone is a part of the Western world order if AI eliminated jobs? They would just be fulfilling their eternal dream of control and domination by the few. Any other way would be communism to them and that's why the Western world won't be thinking about everyone. And AI won't give them the most ideal results?

Every time Trump opens his mouth to act tough in front of those beta journalists, the US seems to lose a few more points on the world stage.

Like he cockily called a 10% tariff hike an "opening salvo" coercion against China and started talking about how he was going to plunder TikTok with his new SWF and private oligarchs, just blatantly.

A few hours later, China hit back with what might be the strongest economic retaliation we’ve seen yet - clearly unfazed by his 'pressure', not even willing to entertain his nonsense and 'negotiate'.

Then today, he arrogantly said the Saudis would be the ones paying for Palestinians in Gaza to be resettled somewhere else after they were ethnically cleansed (wtf, why, how, for what reason??).

And sure enough, MBS and Saudi Arabia fired back with the loudest diplomatic slap the US has gotten from them so far. This is what the US deserves, I'm enjoying all of this collapse as a Serb.

Trump declaring the US takeover over Gaza. Can't wait to see Democrats spin this not being genocide and it's different from what they accuse of China. It tells you how psychotic Americans are where you have Trump start actions against China over Xinjiang and then everyone including Democrats going along with it and now Trump plans for the US to take over Gaza for profit.

Trump Tariffs: U.S. President, Xi Won't Speak Tuesday After China Retaliates

President Trump and China's Xi Jinping won't speak Tuesday, a U.S. official says, after both countries moved to impose tariffs

Chinese took too many calcium pills while growing up, can't bend the knee now.
Pretty obvious China never agreed to talk to him and the entire idea of call with Xi was his fantasy, just like his fantasy of buying TikTok.
Rubio's call was typically how you arrange these calls, and China told Rubio "f* around and find out", message was pretty clear.

Acting like a gang boss without power of a gang boss and infront of the real gang boss is typically fatal, Trump is going to find out the hard way.

The only communication channel Trump will likely has with China for the foreseeable future is through Beijing's latest instruction to Elon.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the agency is the first to tell its employees they can quit and get eight months of pay and benefits.

Last month, the Trump administration offered about 2 million federal employees buyouts to be paid through September, though the window to accept the offer closes on Thursday.

Google drops pledge not to use AI for weapons or surveillance

In 2018, the company introduced policies that excluded applying AI in ways “likely to cause overall harm.” Now that promise is gone.

Google on Tuesday updated its ethical guidelines around artificial intelligence, removing commitments not to apply the technology to weapons or surveillance.
The company’s AI principles previously included a section listing four “Applications we will not pursue.” As recently as Thursday, that included weapons, surveillance, technologies that “cause or are likely to cause overall harm,” and use cases contravening principles of international law and human rights, according to a copy hosted by the Internet Archive.
A spokesperson for Google declined to answer specific questions about its policies on weapons and surveillance but referred to a

by the company’s head of AI, Demis Hassabis, and its senior vice president for technology and society, James Manyika.

The executives wrote that Google was updating its AI principles because the technology had become much more widespread and there was a need for companies based in democratic countries to serve government and national security clients.

What do laid off CIA agents usually do ;)
