No no. Political parties and most politicians in Canada, from left to right, now have all become lap dogs of the US, even if their skin colours do not look the same. Canada ruled by of these scums will remain as hostile to China as the US until their masters in DC say otherwise.
Dr. Qiu Xiangguo, a Canadian citizen of Chinese origin was forced to quit her job from a microbiology lab in Winnipeg for, you guessed it, having worked with peers in China. A big fuss was made out of it. I remember having seen news of some idiots in the parliament demanding criminal charges and security "experts" suggesting Canada losing to China in microbiology because of her.
Then her former colleagues in the same lab made this comment:
