Did Musk even say/imply what that random account claims?

To me it seems clear that the guy said yada yada Im experienced and would have worked for free and Musk replied "yeah we were stupid for not hiring you".

The more interesting part is that Indians are such an eggshell topic for Americans that even slightly accidentally implying something like Musk might have done is immediate cause for a backlash like that. The whole thing reveals more about Musk's audience than about Musk himself.

I think Elon was being sarcastic meaning he wouldn't how that guy because he believes that guy is dumb

I really don't know if it's intentional or not. The way Indians somehow manage to get enemies to put aside their differences because their mutual hatred of India is just that strong. Truly amazing.

When I first watched Watchman I thought the idea that Dr Manhattan could get world peace by simply getting everyone to unite in their hatred against him was stupid. But now it doesn't seem so farfetched.

Well, Indians would go into those thread and act stupid which further gets reposted into maga world. Basically all the stupid stuff they do against the Chinese, they do it against everyone. Chinese population in us social media is small so they use similar game plan and fail to realize MAGA are the top trolls of the english speaking world, not them. The thing MAGA hates the most is being "replaced" in their own world by non european/anglo, you would never hear such language from Chinese/Asian people.

Trump's Panama comments unites the entire continent against him:

Hilariously, Panama's Mulino is one of the most pro-American presidents in the region, and one of the most vocal critics of Venezuela’s regime in Latin America.

If Trump escalates his threat to retake the Panama Canal, virtually all Latin American governments, from right and left, are likely to side with Panama. Not only have they historically supported Panama’s ownership of the Canal, but many would see it as a precedent that could potentially threaten their own territorial sovereignty.

There were shrapnel holes on the tail and horizontal stabilizer surfaces, so it was an external explosion from a missile. From landing video pitch control was disabled and pilots were trying to land by controlling pitch using engine power which supports horizontal stabilizer disabled.

Loss of control happened over Russia, Ukraine was trying to attack Chechnya with DIY drones at the time so could be air defence friendly fire, or collision with a drone but that's statistically unlikely.
Caucasus and Caspian area is a pretty busy air traffic corridor, especially with the Black Sea mostly closed, most of Russian air traffic from/to Africa and middleast flows from here, as well as all non-NATO airliners flying to/from Central Asia. Odd place for interception.

It does look like shrapnel damage though.

Can't hear the engine. Looks like it was just gliding without any engine output.

__________

Three places nearby (in Russia) where it could have landed but "allegedly" was denied by Russia and instructed to the Caspian Sea.

To be fair there's way less willing Chinese. And I'd bet in comparison to their original class they're also much worse compared to the Indians.

India is sending their best that self select maybe top 1 out of 10 000. Meanwhile for China, the entire top quartile in talent is very unlikely to consider US at all, and out of the remaining 75%, going to US typically selects for some of the lazier or more western dovish people (which doesn't have to mean they have worse innate talents, just that they're lazier).

If we assumed H1B was based on merit only, I could completely believe that the distribution above is fair. If anything I think US is on a person basis more likely to be pro-Chinese bias than pro-Indian biased. Americans just don't like people with certain phenotypes and Indians are hitting all the wrong spots.

Based on my personal experience in tech the floor of Indian workers are much lower than any other group in tech. It's the H1B mills and nepotism.
