Mohammed Hijab, one of the English-speaking pro-Palestine superstars who was famous for his debate with Piers Morgan. Endorses the HTS takeover of Syria.

That is why even if I am aligned with the anti-Zionist cause, I do not readily trust everybody within this movement. People like Mohammed Hijab is one example of these people who insidiously divides the Muslim community. I think he genuinely believe in the anti-Zionist cause, but only his interpretation of it, which is to destroy Syria and the Iranians first. I can be that he will willingly go along with the head-chopping, rape, and murder that'll be committed to his cause.

It is people like these who poison the Muslim world, and made it as contradicting as it is today. They preach about saving the Muslims in Palestine, and fighting Israel. But they will not volunteer their lives to fight in Gaza. Instead, they will readily support and volunteer to slaughter the very people who were actually fighting against the Israelis.

Syria is actually allied with groups that fights Israel like Hezbollah and Iran. HTS is allied with Turkey which is a NATO member. Theres a reason why Israel airstrikes Syria but never the "rebels".

Exactly. And we have this massive portion of the pro-Palestine movement who wants to destroy Syria. 13 years since the Arab Spring, and still they haven't learned anything. No wonder Israel remains a powerhouse in the Middle East to this day. Too many of its enemies don't even know what they are fighting for.

Not wrong to say that the Middle East is still stuck in their own "Centuries of Humiliation".

Ironically Iran only has as much influence in Iraq and Syria today because NATO / Israel created ISIS for their own purposes 10 years ago and Iran stepped in.
Russia-Iran military ties are much closer this time, not to mention China-Russia and China-Iran ties.

Iran hasn't deployed anyone yet, but there's an opportunity this time to actually create a much stronger anti-Israel presence in Syria under the pretense of fighting ISIS.

Provided that Syria could even survive in time for such help to arrive. The SAA's so-called legendary "fortress city" Hama had fallen to the terrorists.

Then there are rumours about "reconciled rebels" picking up arms again against Assad in the south and Damascus. Also there are rumours about the IDF amassing a serious armoured force on the Golan Heights. Even if those rumours are false, Assad and Syria still appears to be in serious trouble now.

How Russia would regret moving the S-300 systems that Syria bought and paid for to Crimea in 2022 to please Israel. How Iran's current president continues to grovel at the feet of the West to lift their sanctions. How Assad might regret neglecting his military for years since the Astana agreement, attempts to humiliate Erdogan diplomatically, but also ignored Erdogan's Jihadist army buildup in Idlib for months. This is an epic military and diplomatic blunder by all three of them.
