I don't get it, expand your thought more broadly please.
you brought Iran without understanding what is really happening. Trump/Israel will get tough to push Iran towards integration into Arabic economic system aka North-South corridor. thats why its better for Iran to talk to Musk and not goes through current US government. Remember the only winning formula since 1945 is combination of Arab wealth and Jewish brain. any one outside this formula is Royally shafted. your misinformed or not relying on correct information. let me put in Arabic.
This is not about Turkiye alone. Russia did intense bombing recently in Syria but it does not meet what is expected. for this Russia needs mass deployment of next generation weopons and comprehensive upgrades to its Air defense system. even Mach 15 is not enough.

I don't disagree... but that doesn't take away from the fact that China-EU trade stands at $800 billion annually. Can China ignore such an important trade partner?
Also Middle East countries leaders care very little about Gaza - they'll happily supply Europe with energy if the $ are right. They just had their first GCC-EU summit to promote greater energy cooperation.
There leaders might love Europe but their people do not. If they keep on mucking around, these leaders might end up being removed

I have a feeling that the Europeans are using the Gaza genocide anti-Israeli sentiment as an excuse to justify their underlying fascism. That is the only logical explanation as to why they can be so passionately pro-Ukraine and anti-Russia, yet so anti-Israel.
My understanding is the Euro always need somebody to hate on, be they Jews, Muslims, Romani, Africans or Russians. Some type of character flaw. When things bad (i.e. economic decline), the racism surfaces, blaming everything on others instead of themselves. They have a long history of anti-Jewish sentiment which is probably why they are able to condemn Israel. Anti-Russian sentiment is fairly new. I don't see this issue much in USA (except in redneck society), even though the media here often promotes it.

I don't get it, expand your thought more broadly please.
Iran is very close geographically to Russia; Caspian Sea is jointly handled, with two additional Persian-influenced and Russofied states on it (Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan). Don't need any treaty to move weaponry through here and US monitoring here is difficult. Tehran is almost on the Caspian.

On the east of Iran is Afghanistan, who is ardently anti-US/Israel with hardened fighters and decades of recent guerilla warfare experience. Next is Pakistan with a sizable Shia population that is very pro-Iran. This isn't like landlocked Syria and Iraq; here you have an enemy with it's entire eastern and northern region completely out of your control, major allies next door, a huge pool of fighters to employ.

You'll need to fully invade Iran and occupy it for a few decades to have any meaningful impact. Air strikes here and there aren't gonna cut it. And when oil & gas prices surge through the roof, Western civilization will crumble while Russians selling energy will benefit immensely.

Evangelist nutters castrating themselves chasing the Israeli pipedream.

Reddit can be pretty hilarious
I read a post the other day that said
"It is obvious that China does not have the money or infrastructure to equip the army with modern small arms"
I read one today that said
"Although China has 1400 modern fighter jets, Taiwan has 300 just as modern. 250 of those 1400 jets are the so-called stealth J-20, but it probably has questionable performance since they are still procuring Flankers. Taiwan has enough to hold out until US and Japan intervene."
Promoting this type of content is probably the best idea for China. Appear weak. Let them laugh.

China could gunboat diplomacy through Asia, holding Japan and Korea hostage with firepower.
There's no reason at all to believe China assert itself like this. They won't even kick out the world's #1 child rapists (white males) from "teaching" ESL and they still hand out scholarships to unqualified candidates throughout the developing world. I take no pleasure in saying this. An assertive China is a laughable fantasy. You should instead hope and pray they don't go full eunuch and import the world's trash for "win win cooperation in the new era of great harmony".

One more thing. Why do you describe China's possible future actions as "gunboat diplomacy" on "hostages"? This is what I mean by East Asians are just insanely bad at soft power. There's no such thing as Chinese "gunboat diplomacy." So far, there is only Chinese Santa Clausing where it gives away hundreds of billions in aid, technology, education, etc. And the recipients aren't even good children. They're often retarded racist pricks. China is doing the thankless job of lifting the developing world into modernity. Yet they somehow manage to make themselves sound like a demon while being a angel. This is the exact opposite of whites who sound like angels while being demons.

East Asians
call foreign trash "expats"
describe imaginary future Chinese actions as "gunboat diplomacy"
call Western subversion / meddling "intervention"
call overthrowing democracies "regime change" or "color revolution"
call their China's allies "attack dogs"
call Western racist genocidal imperial fascist oligarchies "democracies" or a harmless inaccurate term like "hegemony" instead of fascist empire
call Western invasions "misadventures" or "interventions"
call Russia's defensive war an "invasion"
call China an empire / imperium despite not acting like an empire at all.
call Western attacks as "confront China" which implies China is a bully that needs to be "confronted" by the "victims"
call Western economic war as "restrict" China - even the NYT calls out usa's economic war

Some of your (and it's not just you. there are many on this forum) language usage is a product of western brainwashing. When I point this out (with many examples) people will look at me like I'm crazy.

The problem with the US following China's "example" is that would be an admission Americans weren't superior. Just like how they don't like Taiwanese chip engineers saying they're better than American ones. If it were the other way around Americans would gladly admit they were superior. I remember when I was in high school whites would openly say they were better at kung fu than Chinese were. So ignore how whites will tell you they invented making computer chips so by their own logic they will always be superior.
I think this is an egregiously Anglo thing because this persistent need to beat down Asians And affirm white superiority is practically a core part of Anglo American or Australian culture. Jack London is the very essence and epitome of this viewpoint. This viewpoint is also expressed amongst the most servile of Europeans eg Lithuanians. Europeans generally are ambivalent to neutral about China because they have bigger fish to fry eg Russians, Muslim rape gangs, etc

And Iran cannot rely on Russia; Russia will not sign a treaty with Iran on defense in case of a nuclear strike. And in a conventional war, a consolidated strike by Israel and the U.S. military will cut Iran down to the roots.
Why does anybody need a piece of paper to get into a fight? China stepped in Korea in 1950s without a treaty (the current treaty was made after the war is over). Besides, there is a thing called SCO, although not a full fledged defense treaty, you think Russia and China will let US and Israle beat a SCO member in front of the world without consequencies? I am very amused by the way your brain works.

Why are they only saying this in 2024 when it was already like this ten years ago?

When your mainland China clients are the main source of your revenue, knowing the local language is expected. France and Tokyo expect people to know the local language and people still think they are world cities when the use of English isn't even official there. I heard even Singapore which they jerk off a lot has a unofficial local language requirement for many front office client facing roles. I'm sure some Singaporean here can say if thats true or not.

It's getting really tiring hearing all these expats whine they are redundant. Maybe they should move to India where they speak English more. Oh wait even they have their own local languages.

Germany's Scholz calls Putin, ending Western isolation over Ukraine

, Scholz urged Putin to pull his forces out of Ukraine and begin talks with Kyiv that would open the way for a "just and lasting peace", the German government said.

The Kremlin said the conversation had come at Berlin's request, and that Putin had told Scholz any agreement to end the war in Ukraine must take Russian security interests into account and reflect "new territorial realities".
The call opened a "Pandora's box" by undermining efforts to isolate the Russian leader, Zelenskiy said. He and other European officials had cautioned Scholz against the move, according to sources familiar with the matter, who believed it was more for domestic consumption.
Facing a snap election on Feb. 23, Scholz's Social Democrats are coming under pressure from Russia-friendly populist parties on both sides of the political spectrum that argue the government has not deployed enough diplomacy to end the war.
"The chancellor urged Russia to show willingness to enter talks with Ukraine with the aim of achieving a just and lasting peace," a German government spokesperson said in a statement.
