After seeing Biden's act after Comrade Trump's victory, I'm starting to think his whole dementia and slip ups are all acts, even calling President Xi a dictator.

Let's not forget that Marco Rubio is the guy that has multiple times claimed Capitalism didn't change China, China changed Capitalism. He probably didn't study history, or else he would know the many times China changed Capitalism previously.

He seems like the late empire reform type. If he is successful he'll prolong the empire, and maybe save it, usually these kind of people just accelerate the decline.

Western MSM writes that China is terrified of Trump's new cabinet picks. Why are they pretending like Biden's admin wasn't also extremely hostile towards China ? In fact, considering Trump's propensity to undermine and humiliate US allies, I think he will be less dangerous than Biden because Europe won't be as eager to work with him to contain China, especially if he proceeds with his threats to impose tariffs on their goods. On the other hand, I expect from Trump more politically provocative moves like high profile visits to Taiwan, increase of arms deliveries, more focus on Uyghurs & Tibet ... China is also likely better prepared to hit back than in 2016.

There's a difference between "patriotism" and "hypernationalism" and I don't know what sort of example(s) the moron provided if he even gave one at all to even gave such a very insulting comparison.

I mean, which country or countries has China invaded with impunity and killed hundreds of thousands of military and non-military people alike; not to include the barbaric acts of rape, burning villages, and cutting heads off as a competition between 2 officers?

Why are Chinese Liberals so historically retarded or they could never accept the history presented to them from the memory of their own people never mind the government.

@FairAndUnbiased can you please provide the man's rationale as to why he said what he said?
I don't see why we should preemptively be apologetic or justifying about anything. The west likes Imperial Japan. The Philippines like Imperial Japan. Many third world countries too like them. And in the quest to increase their living standards, the west too carried out many crimes.

If China has to defend itself with militarism to keep it's way of life, there's nothing wrong with it. As the most powerful country today, we have a natural right to impose ourselves on others if needed, just like the west did when it was the most powerful entity, just like Japan did when it rose to the first spot in Asia.

Of course I don't advocate for inefficient violent behavior or acting like a crowd of looters and rioters. The atrocities from Imperial Japan are a result of poor military discipline and weak willed command - they lost against even a not united China for a reason.
