"North Korean troops arrive in Russian region occupied by Ukraine"
By Matthew Sedacca
"Thousands of North Korean troops have arrived in Kursk, the western Russian province partly occupied by Ukraine, ahead of an expected counteroffensive by Moscow.

Soldiers from an elite unit of the Korean People’s Army dispatched to the region have not started fighting alongside Russian troops, but officials predicted they would help in an anticipated campaign aimed at driving out Ukrainian forces, who seized about 400 square miles of territory in Kursk in a surprise August incursion, officials told The New York Times.

The soldiers’ dispatch to Kursk, with the first arriving Wednesday, came after Ukraine and South Korea warned for weeks that North Korean forces were training alongside Russian soldiers, with Ukraine estimating as many as 12,000 troops are involved. "

Mutual defense agreement in action? Or they want SK in Ukr?

this youtube video is kinda weird, he uses CN (looks shanghai?) vs IND in his thumbnails.. yet he dossmt have any mainland CN cities in his top20 best? Is that considered like clickbait or something?

Probably. But it is obvious that most people have shitty experience with India. I can't even watch the videos with headphones because the constant honking will give me a headache. I have never had this sort of experience until I started watching these vids. In contrast you see them visiting China and everything is so smooth.

Yeah, I too would like to know who this guy is, and why we are graced with his YouTube on this forum? Is he a key opinion leader? Or just some random YouTube guy ? Why does what he says matter?

I think he's a kinda known travel vlogger. You can just ignore it if youre not interested. And the point of the post is not really his opinion, but using photo of Mainland CN in thumbnail, using the CN vs Ind thing, but not in content.

"There is a belief widely held across the Western world: Chinese students are schooled through rote, passive learning – and an educational system like this can only produce docile workers who lack innovation or creativity.

We argue this is far from true. In fact, the Chinese education system is producing highly successful students and an extremely skilled and creative workforce. We think the world can learn something from this."

"Funai Electric Co., a Japanese maker of audio and video equipment, received court approval of its bankruptcy plan on Thursday, Teikoku Databank Ltd., a credit research firm, said.

Funai, based in Daito in the western prefecture of Osaka, had some 46.1 billion yen in liabilities, Teikoku Databank said.

Founded in 1961, the company had boasted a significant presence in Japan and abroad as an original equipment manufacturer.

But the company struggled with a slump in the North American market and competition from Chinese rivals following the global financial crisis of 2008. A scandal involving an overseas unit also weighed on Funai.

Funai was acquired by Shuwa System Holdings Co. and went private in 2021. The company's finances were also hit by the failure by a beauty salon unit to pay advertising fees."

Curious they didnt cite SKorean rivals in the article...

The entirity of western history is made up of blind passive acceptance of church rule without merit, wheras China has millenia of meritocratic, i.e. evidence based governance, western society has, and will always be run on blind faith without question.

Its no surprise thenthat western population, having been brought up with rote, passive, evidence-rejecting indoctrination, would believe without evidence that China is just like how they themselves really are.

Israel said the strikes were in retaliation for Iran's attacks earlier this month." Singapore english media CNA.

Tho CNA frame it as Isr "retaliation" for Iran's "attack" (not iran's retaliation)
