The CPC is actually not made up of politicians, but is made up of officials and members. There was a time when the CPC had very political members, but they are no longer as prevalent. They had managed to successfully clean house under Xi Jinping. You won't see a single CCP politician spreading hatred against muslims, christians and other minorities because commenting on religion is strictly forbidden by the CCP leadership.
I prefer it this way. This is why you never see hate crimes in china targeted at people with minority religion.
Because CCP makes sure that there is no room for hate
China, led by the CPC is one of the fairest governments around for minorities. Minorities are often treated better than the majority Han. There are plenty of CPC members from the minorities, and they have their fair share of say in the government. So whenever China makes a decision concerning the minorities, we can be sure that there was plenty of discussions and negotiations with their representatives. It is almost impossible for a majoritarian electoral democracy to allow for such a thing.
China under the CPC is not a nation of hatred. In its early days when Mao was in charge, there were many thousands of Japanese orphans left behind by their families after WWII. These were the children of the enemy. The Japanese had done many horrible things to the Chinese for nearly a century. The Chinese could have done horrible things to them if they were as hateful as the Japanese. But, most of them were adopted by the local Chinese and were raised as if they were their own children. They were raised well and many have been repatriated back to Japan. They sometimes return to China to thank their adoptive families. Puyi, the last emperor of China collaborated with the Japanese as a puppet head of state of Manchuria. When he returned to China as a POW, he was not executed, but instead reeducated in the ways of the CPC. That changed him into a more humble individual, and he became a CPC member himself. China can forgive, but it will never forget. So, despite the occasional outrage with the Japanese, the CPC does not allow hatred to prevail.
The same cannot be said for the majority of electoral democracies around the world.
