You know HKers keep complaining about China and yet China gives them special treatment. Right now almost every top Chinese Olympic Gold Medalist (except Zheng Qinwen who's is trying to win the US Open eight now) is coming to Hong Kong. No other place gets such treatment except when the entire Olympic team had to go to Beijing to meet Xi which is obviously a special scenario. I don't think any other province or city will get all the A tier guys to come in one go.
People in mainland China would almost kill for the chance to be here at this spot.
It's maybe like 5% of us complaining, and because those are the most bottom feeding idiots in society, whose education system failed them.
I call them bottom feeding retards because they are literal useful idiots. They are the type of person who believe Chinese police are brutal while they see real footage of foreign police executing citizens on their streets.
They hate mainlanders only because the education system has brainwashed them. Ironically, this is actually the fault of the mainland for not rewriting the curriculum. If the education system had told them that white people are locusts and devils, they would also uncritically believe those talking points. If you just give them the correct social stimuli, they would be first in line to charge down trenches and execute PoWs with sledgehammers like Wagner without thinking twice what they're doing. They're the type of human that are like Russian soldiers fighting with black sun patches while still saying they're against nazis.
Every society have some dregs like that, it's just up to the Chinese govt to give them a proper outlet, which the govt has failed to so far.
Easily the greatest dislike I have for the govt is that they neglect to educate the next generation in morals, and just leave it to people themselves to discover. Well guess what not all of us are smart enough to attain normal morals if you don't tell us anything.
