Yes. This is basically an indigenous Mexican LST which was built in the Mexican Navy Yard in Salina Cruz, Oaxaca. It was launched in August 2011, and turned over to the Mexican Navy as the BAL-01. She is based at the Naval Base of Manzanillo, Colima.

In 2013, she, along with other Mexican naval vessels, brought humanitarian aid to Guerrero, after the hurricane that affected the state

At 3,000 tons she is fairly small as LSTs go, but a nice and capable vessel nonetheless.

Here's a couple of pics:

Does he mean the ARM Rio Panuco (IA-1). Originally this was a US LST that was commissioned to the US Navy initially in 1945 and then later sold to Mexico in 1978.

I thought the Mexican Navy used her as a target ship and sunk her some years ago, and she became an artificial reef.

The Peruvian Navy may have in a year the first of two multipurpose vessels ordered by the Navy of Peru (MGP) to the public yards SIMA Callao. It is an amphibious assault ship class derived from Makassar which have already completed 15 of the 27 modules in which they are worked. Shipyard sources said that this ship will be delivered in March 2016.

The project contract to build two multipurpose ships for the Navy of Peru (MGP) was signed in 2013. The parties, KOTRA (the Korea Agency for Promotion of Trade and Investment, Daewoo International (one of the main platforms international trade in China) and SIMA Peru (Peruvian state shipyard) has thus given official launch the project valued at approximately $ 115 million and that in practice began with the laying of the keel for the first ship multipurpose last July shipbuilding dock SIMA shipyard.
The multipurpose ships and amphibious assault ships and amphibious transport dock, commissioned by the MGP have (according to the official version), the main objective of providing support to local and regional civilian population in case of natural disasters, as happened in the earthquake Pisco occurred in the city in August 2007. At that time, the media were transported more help exactly outdated ships type LST (Landing Ship Tank) from the Peruvian Navy. A second mission is to support peacekeeping missions of the United Nations, without neglecting its objective as a platform for amphibious assault, for which by design has the ability to transport aboard armored vehicles, amphibious, Marines completely equipped, landing craft and will have own defense weapons, among which Oto Melara cannon and two 76mm anti-aircraft guns 40/70 mm Oto Melara.
The multipurpose ships are 122 meters long by 22 meters wide and 4.5 m deep. Displace 7,300 tons, exceeding 11,000 ta full load. The main engine block is made up of two diesel move two separate axes with controllable pitch propellers that drive the ship at a maximum speed of 16 knots (economic speed to 13.5 knots), reaching a range of 14,000 miles engines. The endowment consists of 100 people, and its transport capacity amounts to 457 soldiers.
Peruvian multipurpose ships will have an inner dike calable with aft access gate, allowing movement -has landing craft LCU accommodate 2 eslora- 23 meters, patrol MGP-2000 or amphibious vehicles. The garage and vehicle load is connected to the inner embankment and through a side gate can embark / disembark vehicles and ro. The flight deck and hangar enable operation of helicopters average. Has davits in the bands for operating boats and RIBs with a loading crane 2 tons of lifting capacity.
Korean shipyard design Dae Sun Shipbuilding is a derivative of Makassar class, adapted to the requirements of the MGP. The construction project involves the construction of two units, which is expected to be sufficient to replace the four LST units of Peruvian naval institution within the larger project of modernization of military capabilities in the South American country.

International observers suspect the Peruvian shipbuilding initiative was a response to the acquisition by French Chile Multipurpose Ship (LPD) Foudre class, current Sargento Aldea (LSDH-91), which according to sources of Talcahuano and Valparaiso has faced several costly repairs and maintenance.

The Joint Naval Command is in continued negotiations with China to construct six 1,800-ton P-18N

corvettes for the aging and underinvested (unmaintained) Argentine Navy, with up to three of the ships reportedly to be coproduced in Argentina. The corvettes will begin the Argentine Navy’s new pointedly-named “Malvinas-class” corvettes. An icebreaker and two tugboats will also be included in the deal.

Argentina had considered purchasing ships from decommissioned Germany, and Spain vessels over the past decade before opting for the P-18N, which was designed by China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation for export and sold to Nigeria previously.
