Actually this anti-China racism from India started way before the Ladakh crisis. Even during pre-Modi times. Its a cultural thing. It could have started after the 1962 war, perhaps even before that.I'm just sick of all the racism from Indians ever since this Ladakh thing started.
Even animosity from Indians I personally know is more overt. Who knows what they're saying behind my back. It's always about my eyes and penis size.
They shift stances so easily.
I really don't want this to affect my professional life but here we are.
But few can deny the anti-China fervor had really taken off in the Modi era. It got bad since Doklam 2017. But in 2020 its intensity started to shock me. It started not in Ladakh, but during the Wuhan Covid-19 outbreak.
The Indian media was really cruel towards China. Sometimes exceeding the Western media. They were among the earliest media to spin the 'Wuhan Lab' conspiracy. They say that Chinese people eat exotic animals, so these things will always happen to China. They were excited about the prospect of production potentially moving from China to India. They sensationalize the Indian and Western governments' rejection of Chinese PPE and test kits. They claim that Covid-19 is the end of China and now its India's chance to overtake them. They called Covid-19 the China Virus, Wuhan Virus, and CCP virus. I remembered all of this.
Then Ladakh happened, and here we are. Everything is coming up to the surface.
Good thing karma exists. Look at India now. I feel no pity for the Indian govt and the Jai Hind crowds. I only pity the poor and oppressed in India. Then again, Indian democracy couldn't give India the leaders they need. It only gave them the leaders they like. And it shows.
