just curious, what do the indian fanboys have to boast about over there? Arent they having had to piggyback on the russians and the west? Surely they have to look at themselves before having the nerve to belittle china.

In my experience, most of the most vocal Indian members over there seem to try to make up for their lack of bragging rights by re-doubling their bashing and hating of others' accomplishments.

They also coo and drool at the latest piece of kit anyone is offering India, so they get a free pass by the Russian and western fanboys since the Indians inflate their ego with all the lusting.

I think one of the reason that forum has some credibility is that it is connected to a long standing publication.

for new chinese developments I usually check f y j s. for aerospace related stuff. some people there has some background in these. alot of noise though.

and for naval stuff I check hsh. it has members all over the place including japan and us. and usually it is very technical oriented.
