I guess rule #1 is do not advocate for making peace and rationalisticilly settle their borders in an military forum, especially not in a forum with a heavy anglo-indian chest thumping nationalistic bias. my fault.
fisherman in china used to put a cat-fish in their boat's wet holds, so that their catch would be alive and kicking and not dead and stale when they get back to port.
oh well.
plus I am little sick and tired of watching the permanent and useless debate on which eurocanard will get the MMRCA or whatever that letter soup contract is. entirely insignificant in quantity and quality in the big scheme of things.

keypub is getting less and less relevant, moderation is getting lax (and your case i.e lopsided), finding the rough gems (posts) is getting harder, it used to be better, i used to learn a lot of stuffs, but it is every now and then, and other forum/people are just as quick on updates, save for people like flateric, but he is also active on other forum
just like mp.net used to be the fun melting pot of various military professionals, now it turns into one of the biggest troll infested sh8hole on the internet, pics are still excellent though

Some times it's just erratic behaviour of a forum software. Even here in this forum, I once got a response saying I don't have access right to the information requested. I clicked refresh and right away everything was back to normal.

Key pub is become a joke these days, full of trolls and spammers and moderated by clearly biased mods. Their whole warning system is so untransparent it's hard not to suspect bias when you see the crap some are allowed to get away with.
I don't bother posting there any more as almost all the decent posters who used to make that place relevant have stopped posting because of all the stupidity and bad moderation, and 99% of those who are left are not worth my time to respond to.
I only go there once in a while to see if any interesting photos have been posted, but those are becoming rarer and rarer these days, and the only regret I have after each visit is that I have wasted my time checking.
If you have been banned, it really no loss at all.

I think no one should post anything over there on the Chinese threads. I think it was Sweetman that gave them credit for the unveiling of the J-20? I haven't seen so many people who think they're experts be so late on the latest. Over there some "other" countries' fanboys can say their country is developing the X-wing and it will be taken seriously and debated. It's a joke over there because these fanboys can act like their countries are experts in fields their country hasn't even accomplished yet. A friend told me over at CDF the writer for The Diplomat who recently wrote that piece about the ASBM that's been circulating is visiting the site. Supposedly also some other "experts" too. I assume the same here. The J-20 changed things. They use to go to forums like Key and they probably got the hint too they're late in the game and now you see these types visiting directly to Chinese centered forums to get the breaking news first.
I remember there was an article in The Diplomat about censorship in China regarding foreign movies and the quota system on how many can be shown every year. It was all the propaganda about how Hollywood is the beacon of freedom and democratic values and China denies exposure to them for the Chinese people. The typical stereotypical bull. So I wrote a comment saying what do you call all those pirated movies that the very same people accuse China of not stamping out and putting an end? The Chinese people are exposed to those very movies the writer says China denies. If the government were all so pre-occupied with stopping the Chinese people from being exposed to Western values, they would do something about the piracy that the accusers say they have the power to stop. If it were all about freedom and against censorship, then Hollywood would not complain about piracy because that exposes all those ideals they so want the Chinese to see. So it's not about freedom but about only making money. I'll give this to The Diplomat and say some of the writers will actually respond to comments. And this writer admitted he never thought of it that way.

The reason Keypub used to get 'scoops' was because there used to be a decent atmosphere over there with lots of people who were actually interested in Chinese aviation developments and a lot of Chinese posters used to re-post breaking news after they get it from the source - Chinese BBS.
Now that the place has been overrun by haters and trolls, most of the members who used to bring them their scoops have quit in disgust like me, or were banned by biased mods for trying to stand up to the haters, trolls and spammers like i.e, so guess what? They are not 'breaking' any more news these days on Chinese related matters.
Hell, there are hardly any Chinese related threads still alive over there these days. Just leave them to their fantasies and wet dreams. It's not like many of them over there actually care about the truth. They just want an excuse to brag about their countries stuff and bash somebody else's. It's like some of them never left kindergarden...
