This picture was most certainly taken in Pakistan as the PAF only sent one of the specially painted JF17Cs, the other one got pulled out at the last minute.

I haven't been keeping up with JF-17 related news, but I noticed the engine nozzle on this airframe looks different: the inner petals have jagged shapes that I don't recall seeing before. Compared this with the nozzle in the last photo below, which was taken earlier at RIAT 2025.
