Now it's reported that total number is 40. That's quite a fleet.

It's either an old photo used with a new release, or a recent image of the first Block-III prototype.

Either way, it's not a new aircraft.

Engine is not bad at all sir.

It is possible they will use some engine from the J-35 in the future if it provides an advantage.
A higher thrust engine would increase takeoff mass and payload.

How come CAC is assembling JF-17. I thought all JF-17 get assembled in Pakistan and China only provided components.
