Wait, it hit a bird? Was it a SteelBird or something?
Yes, birds can still splash planes, that's what happened to Sully's plane taking off from LaGuardia:

No no no, I mean "SteelBird". Get it? Because the first person to react to that was user SteelBird. It's a horrible joke.Yes, birds can still splash planes, that's what happened to Sully's plane taking off from LaGuardia:
This blog post was viral on the Indian media circuit just hours after it was posted. The Indians take Air. Com. Tufail very seriously and are full of admiration for his professional analysis of the air combat scenario in the India Pakistan context. His "blow-by-blow " professional account of the IAF PAF dogfight on 27th February 2019 was copied and shared all over the Indian media circuit. The PL-15 is a huge threat. Watch this video from Shekhar Gupta referencing Air. Com. Tufail's post.( frame 10:25) . Much of what he says is obvious and boring so viewing the whole video is unnecessary. From 10:27 onwards; Interestingly he states that Pakistan has anticipated the Rafale induction and has planned to match it.This is the first semi-official word on the PL-15 being integrated on the Block III. 'Semi official' because ACM (retired) Tufail is a very reliable source, with active links within the PAF. Still unconfirmed officially, but the signs are looking good.
I think that's the same hangar I visited years ago. That's the CCS squadron @ Mushaf AFB
