Thank you all.
We had a wonderful memorial for my Mom last night. Five of the grand kids who live in this part of the country and five of her great grand children were there. All the grandkids and even three of the great grandkids came forward and gave moving testimonials of my Mom.
I have placed an online obituary about my Mom for anyone interested in seeing it:
My father, who was a U.S. Navy combat veteran of World War II in the PTO died nine years ago. I believe I will place one of those online for him now as well.
Again, thank you for your words of comfort and your prayers. I will miss my Mom. We've taken care of her for the last 7 years. But I am also happy for her. Her long fight with dementia and heart ailments is over and she is now reunited with my Dad, and with her Savior.. That is something to rejoice in...and we do.
