Japan's Luzi 10 tanks use a 1200-horsepower 8-cylinder 4-stroke diesel engine with a thrust-to-weight ratio of 27 hp/ton. The main weapon is the 120mm slide gun developed by the Japan Steel Corporation. It uses an automatic loading machine and does not require manpower to load the shells. The Type 10 tank uses an active hydraulic and pneumatic suspension system, which makes the tank's off-road driving smooth and greatly enhances the accuracy of firing in progress.
