I think WS19 for J35A land based variant and WS21 for J35 CV variant. Outside possibility that J-35A uses WS21 and J-35 uses WS13E.
correct me if I'm wrong but the WS-21 is much worse than the WS-19 no? What sense would it make to give the carrier jets worse engines

The need for navalization i.e. replacing easily corroded parts and materials with more durable ones. This means it takes longer for the engines to be ready. AIUI WS21 has same performance as current WS19, the difference is that WS21 is at the end of its development cycle and WS19 is at the start (and will be improved over time).

Care to explain such an exaggerated, well-founded - in fact plain stupid - generalised statement? What do you men with much worse? … and so the WS-19 too is bad?

No, it's the other way around. Also, we don't know which engines these J-35 prototypes use, just that supposedly the Navy wants higher end subsystems throughout and thus selected the WS-19.

Wow,seeing "little brother" J35 entering maturity as a premier naval 5Gen fighter is absolutely wonderful-when I first saw the "Gyrfalcon" exhibited I was only mildly impressed as the J20 took the limelight...but now ,I am delighted that some high -ranking PLA/PLAN officers saw its potential and invested in the nascent J35 and Iam also impressed with SAC's fit/finish -quality of the J35 airframe/cockpit etc-4K pictures are so detailed=it's equal to CAC's quality in the J20.Losing sleep but loving every moment of this Fujian reveal.BTW what is COD-carrier wise?
