Looks like we are having a new sharkie in our family
Well that's incredibly odd. No retractable luneburg lenses? Using completely different nozzles to the J-35A yet now using the same vertical stabilisers? Why's the ram air intake on a different side?Indeed, as it seems, also the PLAN Naval Aviation has finally revealed its first two operational (?) J-35 fighters.
And if I read their construction numbers correctly - namely 0011 & 0012 - they are LRIP aircraft!

Does J-35 use WS-19 instead while J-35A uses WS-21 or something?
Highly unlikely given the WS-19 started flying on J-35s later than WS-15s on J-20As, and I don't think the progress is that quick for it to already have overtaken the WS-15 to be in service.Does J-35 use WS-19 instead while J-35A uses WS-21 or something?
Also unlikely for the navalized variant to enter service before regular variant.Highly unlikely given the WS-19 started flying on J-35s later than WS-15s on J-20As, and I don't think the progress is that quick for it to already have overtaken the WS-15 to be in service.
To be fair the WS-19 is designed for naval service from the get-go.Also unlikely for the navalized variant to enter service before regular variant.
