Just from a superficial glance, it looks like the J-35 has a bigger radome for the radar, but the F-35 does a much better job of concealing the engine nozzle from the side. The prismatic IRST also looks bigger on the F-35.

Stop right there. The graph shows it's a thinner-but-longer vs. a thicker-but-shorter comparison. Only the ladies have the true say in which of these settings works better.Well ... for my wife also a Boeing 737, 767 and 777 are "from a superficial glance" the same to an Airbus A320, A330 and A350 but also the MS-21 and C919, but we all know this is not what counts, and surely not here.
