Finally a neat pic to make me closer into a believer...

Though the ground clearance ain't as bad as I once thought, the main gear door still rather too low for comfort, or is it not?
And like other stealth fighters the doors' edges are jagged-toothed, the designers are clearly following the proven formulas.

Now c'mon CAC, when you gonna let it fly?

I cant wait to get a upside view of this plane. I wonder how it will compare to the t-50 and even f-22 and f-35. I think time will tell. However I also cant help but wonder how china will handle its perennial aircraft engine bottleneck. I mean, ws-10a isnt even fully matured for the j-11b, and j-20 already will be flying soon. They really need to urgently adress the engine bottleneck, cause if not, then yeah, they could really end up having to purchase engines from russia.

I wont say 117S, because i doubt that russia will sell them anytime soon. But other engines are a possibility.

News about engine R&D in China is pretty conflicted, some says they've make breakthrough while you'd hear there're still problems and they'd need more Russian engines. If WS-10A not good enough what about the WS-10B?

Unfortunately haters only knows how to hate, and perhaps you should see the mindsets of some of those Taiwanese I encountered...they still call China "the commie swines" and their impression of the PLA still stuck to what it was 20 years ago...

A small image comparison, although unfortunately not to scale. But one can deduce that the J-20 is a rather big plane. It's front looks more F-22 like, the canopy and the intake aligned with the fuselage, plus the added DSI. The tail bears a closer resemblance of russian design ideas.

Yes it's too early to tell, but looks like the J-20's engines are packed in closer together than that on T-50, in that case the intake could offer a better radar shielding effect than that on the T-50?

I heard a picture comparing the J-10 and J-20 was leaked by Lanpang, the guy who originally leaked J-XX. Does anyone have that picture?
