Everything always has a double edge sword. Some may think China is still weak and want to try her.

But presenting yourself strong and powerful. It is a good prevention for unnecessary futile conflict.

During Deng's times, China shall lay low but now is 2011 where China has attain many status. Laying low will not benefit China current policy.

I think it's more or less a myth to say that the old Chinese stuff was better in quality. I recall that the quality of civilian products after the Cultural Revolution up to the early 80's were really bad. Take those old-days bicybles for example, they were heavy, clumsy, and poor in quality (I remember the bubbling and peeling plating from the wheels of some Yongjiu brand bicycles in the neighborhood...

I hightly doubt that is necessary (although I have to admit that it is very tempting an idea). There are simply too many stupid asses who will always keep doing that. You'll die trying... Actually, those people are not all stupid, many of them are very smart, weil educated, well read, well informed, they just choose to see what they wish to see, and choose to say what makes them feel better.

That you can do absolutely nothing about! This is the case with most of the active Bharat Rakshat guys... You read what they say, you could almost see them furiously masturbating (mentally, of course)...

To be fair, you can also see the same phenomenon in some forums or sub forums of Chinese origin, of American origin, and of many other origins...
