By the way, on that board, your ethnicity is kindly, gracefully, and respectfully referred to as "chicom, chipanda, chinks, lizard" almost all the time.

Now, back to the J-20. Those of us who read Chinese must have noticed that, over on the Chinese military fan forums, the ones who insisted on a pair of domestic engines on the flying J-20 still so insist! I'm not talking about those mindless patriotic drones, I'm talking about some more or less big shrimps.

Your posts make less sense every time I read them.

The Kiev has been a theme park for years and there is absolutely no way it will ever be made into a combat ship for many, very obvious reasons.

Besides, why are we even talking about the Kiev in the J20 thread?

same thing say about varyag,When China purchased varyaq, they say it going to convert into non military platform (Hotel?)
giving the cost of repairing Varyaq, any plan to bring kiev back to life may have to step aside.

i seriously doubt they will go through all that pain to reconvert that boat for military service. they're better off building one from scratch

Now that (if you meant bringing Kiev back to life) would sound too much to me. One big old Varyag is quite enough of a experimental bed, from which they got to have learned most of what the old Russian AC's have to offer. Refurbishing another junk would be too much... Concentrating on the two indigenous ones said to have been under construction would be nice! Don't you think?

Clearly China's not bringing the Kiev back to life, that's ridiculous... nor the minsk, before anyone suggests that.

It'll probably be easier to build a new carrier or LHA instead, honestly..

For we all are aware that not many governments give too big a piece of shit to such forum experts/fighers anyway. :)

people at SP are the real deals

To me, they look like really thin plates bolted on.

i'm in the painted camp on this one

do we really need to talk about varyag and ffs kiev in the J-20! thread
also please no more talk on BR, they are delusional and let them be, it's their loss

All right all right my bad, no more talk about BR (it'd be nice to talk the few Chinese wasting time talking there away from there though)...

What is SP? Strategypage?

And who actually believed that cover story to start with?

Honestly, there are so many clues and key differences that I find it quite astonishing anyone could confuse they two, it is so blatantly obvious that they have never, and will never planned to re-activate the Kiev or Minsk that I refuse to waste any more of my time talking about this nonsense.

You can if you want, but the only think you will achieve by flogging this dead horse is lower what credibility you still have left.
