You gave the equation whcih states drag is a function of air density, drag coefficent, air velocity, and wing reference area. You cherry picked wing reference area to try to argue area being the so determing factor on drag, and try to draw inference to conclude J-20 having higher drag by misrepresenting fuselage area as wing reference area. You sir, will be the one who will flunk the test.
What is a wing but a 2D area or a square meter or feet, friction only has application over area not volume, only appliable as surface area and always will be like that, means skin friction, if they say times wing area is because the easiest surface appliable is a wing usually wings are considered as deltas or trapezoids and are easily described, the calculations for a fusleage will be also in square meters, not in volume, the J-20 has more square meters in fuselage area.
