What is the black line surround the weapon bay ?
If you mean the new formation light being two pieces with a gap in between, I have seen it in 2021 show. Yes, there are two types of formation lights, one is three pieces the other is two pieces with big gap. But that is nothing new.
The blue tint of EOTS could be just lighting effect as coated lenses change color depending of the angle of incoming light. A camera lens can change from yellow to orange to blue to purple.
The implication is these early batches of J-20s with AL-31 series engines from the 9th Brigade are getting these small upgrades, so except the engines, they will look identical as the later batch ones equipped with WS-10 engines.
What great photos! I am in no way an expert, but these photos to me demonstrate that China has entered the world class in terms of aircraft manufacturing and material quality.
If the 9th got incremental upgrades, there is no reason why Dingxin couldn't have done the same! Nowadays we can't be sure if a J-20 has WS-10C engines unless we can see the actual nozzles...
A special RAM (radar absorbent material) for the edges of openings. Perhaps it gives a tighter seal.
